It seems incredible how time flies and that more than 40 years have passed since we took these photographs, which correspond to outings from when my wife and I were dating in the late 70s. I remember that she was in her last year of school and lived in Valencia (the capital of the Carabobo state, Venezuela) I lived in a town called Montalbán about an hour away, so we couldn't see each other that often because of my work, but every time she went to school town with her family we saw each other, until finally I obtained permission from her father to visit her at home or go out for a walk. For example, in this photo we are both in the city aquarium restaurant.
Parece mentira como pasa el tiempo y que ya han pasado más de 40 años desde que tomamos estas fotografías, las cuales corresponden a salidas de cuando mi esposa y yo éramos novios a finales de los años 70, recuerdo que ella estaba en su último año de colegio y vivía en Valencia (la capital del estado Carabobo, Venezuela) yo vivía en un pueblo llamado Montalbán a más o menos una hora de camino, así que no podíamos vernos tan seguido a causa de mi trabajo, pero cada vez que ella iba al pueblo con su familia nos veíamos, hasta que finalmente obtuve el permiso de su padre para poder visitarla en su casa o salir de paseo. Por ejemplo en esta foto ambos estamos en el restaurante del acuario de la ciudad.

Lamento que las fotos no hayan salido tan bien como esperaba ya que las tomé con el celular de mi hija desde el álbum de fotos familiar (la foto original se ve mucho mejor, de hecho está perfecta) con un programa online que ella encontró intentó mejorarla pero eso fue lo mejor que pudo hacer, pero en fin, lo importante es que igual ustedes nos pueden ver a mi esposa (en ese entonces novia) y a mi, de paseo por el dique de Guataparo, una reserva de agua que abastece a toda la ciudad, en esa ápoca era un lugar muy bello destinado a paseos, tenía muchas flores y pasto además de fuentes de soda, así que íbamos allí muy seguido, pero también íbamos al cine o a algún restaurante.
