[Splinterlands] Truthspeaker - Social Media
Greetings, digital art lovers! Today I want to tell you about my most recent participation in the social media section of Splinterlands. This time, I chose the character "Truthspeaker" to make a fanart that could capture the essence of this very special character.
For those who are not familiar with Splinterlands, it is a collectible card game that has taken the digital world by storm. And as a digital artist, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do my bit for this amazing community.
As for the technique used to create my fanart, I decided to go back to using the grayscale drawing technique. This technique allows me to create shadows and lights with great precision, which is especially important for this particular character, who has such an interesting personality and look.
Once I had the grayscale base, I began to apply color to the work. This is where the digital art really kicks in, as I can experiment with different color palettes and create lighting effects that would be impossible to achieve with traditional techniques.
In the end, I think I managed to create a work that captures the essence of the character "Truthspeaker" and in turn demonstrates the limitless possibilities of digital art. ¡Saludos, amantes del arte digital! Hoy les quiero contar acerca de mi más reciente participación en la sección de social media que realiza Splinterlands. En esta ocasión, elegí al personaje "Truthspeaker" para realizar un fanart que pudiera capturar la esencia de este personaje tan especial.
Para aquellos que no estén familiarizados con Splinterlands, se trata de un juego de cartas coleccionables que ha tomado el mundo digital por asalto. Y como artista digital, no podía dejar pasar la oportunidad de aportar mi granito de arena a esta increíble comunidad.
En cuanto a la técnica utilizada para crear mi fanart, decidí volver a utilizar la técnica de dibujo a escala de grises. Esta técnica me permite crear sombras y luces con una gran precisión, lo que es especialmente importante para este personaje en particular, que tiene una personalidad y un aspecto tan interesantes.
Una vez que tuve la base en escala de grises, comencé a aplicar color a la obra. Aquí es donde realmente se despierta el arte digital, ya que puedo experimentar con diferentes paletas de colores y crear efectos de iluminación que serían imposibles de lograr con técnicas tradicionales.
Al final, creo que logré crear una obra que captura la esencia del personaje "Truthspeaker" y que a su vez demuestra las posibilidades ilimitadas del arte digital. The most mysterious of Khymian priests, Truthspeakers are warriors of prayer. Communication is their main field of study, and through their prayers they are given the ability to speak in every language. Most strange is their ability to speak in tongues, which communicates directly with the Angel Realm. When used in battle, this skill calls down a smiting light from heaven. Though quite uncontrollable, the Angel’s Light is extremely destructive.
Los más misteriosos de los sacerdotes khymianos, los Portavoces de la Verdad, son guerreros de la oración. La comunicación es su principal campo de estudio, y a través de sus oraciones se les otorga la capacidad de hablar en todos los idiomas. Lo más extraño es su capacidad de hablar en lenguas, que les permite comunicarse directamente con el Reino de los Ángeles. Cuando se utiliza en combate, esta habilidad hace descender una luz fulminante del cielo. Aunque bastante incontrolable, la Luz del Ángel es extremadamente destructiva.
As I mentioned earlier, this drawing was done using the grayscale drawing technique, followed by the application of color in the last step. I started by drawing the basic outlines of the character on a separate layer and using the pen tool to create precise lines. Then, I added details, such as facial features, clothing, hair and jewelry. For this version of the drawing, I decided to draw "Truthspeaker" with open arms, which gives him a sense of power and connection to the universe. I also decided to change his outfit a bit to add some details and create a more interesting effect. I made sure to keep his original outfit so that he would be easily recognizable as the character from Splinterlands.
Como mencioné anteriormente, este dibujo se realizó con la técnica de dibujo a escala de grises, seguido por la aplicación de color en el último paso. Comencé por trazar los contornos básicos del personaje en una capa separada y utilizando la herramienta de pluma para crear líneas precisas. Luego, fui añadiendo detalles, como los rasgos faciales, la vestimenta, el cabello y las joyas. Para esta versión del dibujo, decidí dibujar a "Truthspeaker" con los brazos abiertos, lo que le da una sensación de poder y de conexión con el universo. También decidí cambiar un poco su vestimenta para añadirle algunos detalles y crear un efecto más interesante. Me aseguré de mantener su atuendo original para que fuera fácilmente reconocible como el personaje de Splinterlands.

As for the setting, I decided to create a violet aura enveloping the character and coming out of his hands. I wanted it to be the visual representation of the ability to "speak the truth" and her connection to the universe. I added some additional details, such as the particles floating in the air, to give a more magical and mystical feel to the work. Once I finished the grayscale drawing, I started applying the colors. I chose a palette of vibrant colors, mainly violet, beige and blue, to complement the character's aura. I also adjusted the lighting to make the character appear to be illuminated by the light emanating from his hands and the aura surrounding him. In the end, I loved the result of my digital drawing of "Truthspeaker". En cuanto al escenario, decidí crear una aura violeta que envolviera al personaje y que saliera de sus manos. Quise que fuera la representación visual de la habilidad de "hablar la verdad" y de su conexión con el universo. Añadí algunos detalles adicionales, como las partículas que flotan en el aire, para dar una sensación más mágica y mística a la obra. Una vez que terminé el dibujo en escala de grises, empecé a aplicar los colores. Elegí una paleta de colores vibrantes, principalmente violeta, beige y azul, para complementar el aura del personaje. También ajusté la iluminación para que el personaje pareciera estar iluminado por la luz que emana de sus manos y del aura que lo rodea. Al final, me encantó el resultado de mi dibujo digital de "Truthspeaker".
