Hola hivers, espero estén todos bien, como siempre hoy les comparto mi participación del contest de splinterlands, esta semana la carta que tendré de referencia será KAIN HACE una legendaria de muerte, la hare en pixel art de mas de 200 px y de altura lo que de, ya que lo hare cuerpo completo, sin mas que agregar vamos.

Hello hivers, I hope you are all well, as always today I share with you my participation in the splinterlands contest, this week the card that I will have as a reference will be KAIN HACE a legend of death, I will make it in pixel art of more than 200 px and as tall as What's up, since I'll do it full body, without anything else to add, let's go.

Primer paso, primero acomodo la paleta de color base que usare que serán varios tonos de morado, la pose será mirando hacia al frente, ahora agrego el color de ojos, dos tonos de azul, y para mas iluminación del rostro un blanco no tan claro, también agregue un detalle de una herida para dar entender que es un muerto viviente y que es una herida de como murió, cosas de nigromantes, por ultimo agregue un color piel y color rojo para la sangre.

First step, first I arrange the base color palette that I will use, which will be several shades of purple, the pose will be looking forward, now I add the eye color, two shades of blue, and for more illumination of the face, a not so light white , also add a detail of a wound to imply that it is an undead and that it is a wound from how it died, things of necromancers, finally add a skin color and red color for the blood.

Paso dos, ahora voy con el cuerpo la pose que tengo en mente es con los brazos hacia arriba o el frente como si estuviera atacando, luego de hacer la pose con color base, es hora de detallar, las hombreras una la hare puntiaguda y la otra normal, lo demás será un poco de ropa ya que quiero que tenga el pecho expuesto para agregar un detalle de un talismán incrustado que es como fue revivido, lore que me gusta inventar mientras dibujo, el abdomen lo hare con musculo pero delgado, por ultimo manos largas y huesudas con las palmas al frente abiertas.

Step two, now I go with the body, the pose that I have in mind is with the arms up or the front as if I were attacking, after doing the pose with the base color, it is time to detail, the shoulder pads, one I will make pointed and the another normal one, the rest will be a little clothing since I want him to have his chest exposed to add a detail of an embedded talisman that is how he was revived, a lore that I like to invent while drawing, I will make the abdomen with muscle but thin, for last long, bony hands with palms open in front.

Paso tres, ahora para terminar el personaje agrego la bata o el resto de la túnica, la hare simple para enfocarme en otros detalles mas adelante, bueno al final como se veía muy simple agregue una hebilla en forma de cráneo en el cinturón, y lo alargue hasta que se vieran un poco las piernas, por ultimo agregue varias telas rotas que sobresalen de la ropa para que se vea mas como un espectro o zombie.

Step three, now to finish the character I add the robe or the rest of the tunic, I will make it simple to focus on other details later, well in the end since it looked very simple I added a skull-shaped buckle on the belt, and I lengthened it until the legs were visible a little, finally I added several torn fabrics sticking out of the clothes to make it look more like a ghost or zombie.

Paso cuatro, este paso lo hice por que casi se me olvidaba el báculo que tiene la carta original, lo hare casi parecido al de la referencia pero sin efecto de brillo, primero hago una forma diamante base y luego voy agregando detalles, quiero que tenga unos símbolos randons ya que estos si le agregare brillo, al final agregue un delineado rojo alrededor de todo el báculo y luego la equipe en la espalda del personaje.

Step four, I did this step because I almost forgot the staff that the original card has, I will make it almost similar to the one in the reference but without a glitter effect, first I make a base diamond shape and then I add details, I want it to have some random symbols since I will add shine to these, at the end I add a red outline around the entire staff and then equip it on the character's back.

Paso cinco, en este ultimo paso me concentro en agregar los detalles faltantes y también para hacer un fondo acorde para el personaje, primero coloque un efecto de remolino en ambas manos, por eso no hice las manos tan detalladas ya que iban ser tapadas por este efecto, pero para que se viera la formas de las manos agregue una transparencia, al final me decidí de agregarle un delineado alrededor del personaje también, por ultimo coloco un fondo de color para fusionar la capa con muchos cráneos, dibuje solo alguno y luego duplique y gire en varias perspectivas, ahora coloco otra capa pero con degradado y las fusiono para lograr un efecto de cráneos espectros y listo espero les guste el resultado final, bye.

Step five, in this last step I focus on adding the missing details and also to make a matching background for the character, first place a swirl effect on both hands, that's why I didn't make the hands as detailed since they were going to be covered by this effect, but to show the shapes of the hands I added transparency, in the end I decided to add an outline around the character as well, finally I placed a colored background to merge the layer with many skulls, I drew only some and then duplicated and rotate in various perspectives, now I place another layer but with a gradient and merge them to achieve a ghost skull effect and that's it, I hope you like the final result, bye.
