THE BEAUTY OF TOGETHERNESS

Embarking on a journey is one that comes with so much hope and anticipation pertaining those we left behind and those we look forward to meeting at our destination, but then one of the things that beautify our travel experience are the encounters we had while on our way.

This experience goes a long way in impacting us, because in some cases, you tend to get to your destination and then wish you can stay a while longer just to enjoy your company with the other passengers or just to catch a glimpse of where the gossip others are having is gonna end.

So today I'll be taking you through my thoughts on which I prefer between traveling alone or in company of others, although, as an introvert that I'm, you might felt you already know what my choice will be between both cases, but then I'll suggest you come along with me and get a full details of my opinion and why I went for that over the other.

TRAVELING ALONE OR ALONGSIDE OTHERS?

As an introvert who love keeping to myself, it's quite surprising that I actually love traveling alongside others, than traveling all by myself, and this I believe is because I most time cage myself to the comfort of my room, but whenever I step out, I've already bookmark the likeliness of coming across people and the possibility of interacting with them, so even though I'm not a fan of engaging in lengthy conversation, I actually love listening to one, more or like eavesdropping but then I tend to join the discussion if needs be, be it a friend, family or stanger.

WHY I CHOSE TRAVELING ALONGSIDE OTHERS

• Possibility of Eavesdropping on Gossip/Discussion

Like I said earlier, I might not love engaging in lengthy conversation, but then I love listening to other people's conversation while I embark on a journey, there's this common tradition that happen in our public mode of transportation, where you get to here two or more people gossiping about their other friends or colleagues who isn't in the vehicle, this kind of conversation usually got me amuse and wondering if they've never given it a thought to wonder what such friend they're gossiping with will saw behind them as well.

And aside the gossiper, there are possibility of entering a vehicle with those who lost telling stories about life and their experience generally, this kind of experience in a public transportation, got my ass glue to the chair, with ears all wide in attention, ready to catch a glimpse of everything being said, and such scenario listed above can't be experienced while traveling alone.

• Possibility of making new friends/Sustaining the ones you already have

Traveling in a publictransportation is one of the ways we get to acquire new friends, probably via one of our conversation with them or base on how they react to things happening around while you're both traveling, and then you get to realize you guys as a thing or two in common, and you can from such occasions build a strong and lasting friendships, this I said because I've once met someone whom we were just meer stranger who both board the same vehicle, and along the way we had some discussion and now our friendship as grown and lasted for over 6 years now.

And in a situation when you're traveling alongside your friends/family, your get the opportunity and enough time to communicate and as well catch up with things happen with such people or just discuss extensively on stuffs, and that get to tighten the bond of friendship between those people, this I said in my opinion, because as an introvert, I might to have the time to commune with my friends always, but we I got the opportunity to be in the same place with such person for a long time, then there are hight possibility of communication erupting between us.

• You're more secure and safe when traveling with others.

In a situation when we travel alongside other people, then we become more confident in the number of those we have around us, should in case any danger lies ahead, because whoever want to attack a group of people must be sure of having enough people to outnumber those he/she wants to attack or else such person would be the victim instead of being the captive.

And another beauty of traveling in company of others that also guaranty safety, is the possibility of switching the person that will drive between each other, when one is tired or feeling sleepy, then another person can take the wheel, unlike when only one person is traveling, and because sleepy, which could lead to an accident when there's no one to switch with the person traveling alone.

Other reasons are the possibility of having enough time and attention in admiring the view, topography of lands along the path and gracing your sight with different traditional attires, local and model structures along the path to mention but few, and all these won't really be possible, because traveling alone requires full concentration on the path while driving to avoid getting involve in an accident.
