How I cultivated a seed bedding and planted different varieties of vegetables

HELLO HIVE

I hope these meet you well, and hope you are doing exploits in your field of professions?, today I'll love to take you through the process of how I cultivated some parts of garden land to create a seed bedding and then planted different varieties of vegetables on it, which I hope will serve my family and as well reduce the cost of things I will be purchasing during this trying period our economy is going through as a nation.

I've always love planting my food each time I've opportune to do so, because aside the fact that it cut cost, it also gives I and my family the privilege of eating a fresh and trustworthy vegetables, which hasn't gone through tedious chemicals that commercial farmers sprays on their crops so it'll grow on time.

After visiting the market to purchase the seeds of jute mallow, Ceratotheca sesamoides and Lagos Spinach, which are better known as ewedu, eku and efo shoko respectively in Nigeria, I got home and set out to work by picking up my hoe, and started cultivating the land for the seeds bedding where the seeds will be planted.

After about 20 minute of tedious cultivation alongside my brother @marsdave who couldn't cultivate the land due his health status and stitching on his stomach from a surgery he undergo recently, but he's the one with more knowledge about agriculture since that was what he studied in higher Institution, so he guide and as well planted the seeds , we got through with the seed bed and then, started planting the seeds by sprinkling it on the bed, other for the jute mallow, it was stated that it must be mix with a warm water before planting it, and that as been the way we usually planting it yearly, so we still followed the same procedures.

Once the seeds as been planted, within a twinkle of an eye, some dove fly down and started feasting on the planted seeds, so we chase them away and then cover the seed bed with a net, to stop beds from gaining access to the planted seeds.

On the next day I added some organic manures of chicken 🐔 waste I got from a nearby poultry to the bed, so it could boast the fertility of the soil and as well the past at which the vegetables will grow.
