Government Policies and Global Initiatives for Environmental Protection
The rate at which we humans are using our own hands to damage our environment is getting out of hand, and if something isn't done, then I'm afraid bad reality would catch up with us in the near future, and that's why we must join hands together to create awareness and as well join forces to indulge in acts that would help reduce the damage we're doing to our environment and as well make it safer for all.
The current situation of our world is quite alarming and disheartened, and in our quest for natural resources, we've seen humans drill through the earth, causing different forms of damage to our society and environment via drilling. Volcanoes and earthquakes have been triggered, and the same is the case with the usage of heavy-duty machines that shoke the earth's foundation and cause different issues for the earth.
That's not forgetting the carbon dioxide that is released to our environment via vehicle and factory waste while leading to toxic substances in the air that cause illness and the like. We must start looking towards other mediums to generate most of the resources we depend on, and today I'll be sharing some measures that I believe can help to a substantial level.
And first on the list is the need to depend more on clean energy; it's disheartened the damage petroleum products cause to our world, and being a source of power in different aspects, that makes it even more damaging and unavoidable given the fact that it's in high demand to be used in cars, planes, trains, ships, and even power electricity via generator, meaning carbon is released to the environment in all these places and makes a safe place difficult to find.
When we invest in clean energy, it'll reduce our dependency on crude oil products and go on to reduce the carbon emissions in our environment, and the best way to achieve that is to invest more in solar energy, wind energy, and probably an electric generator from a dam. With all of these put together, we won't have to bother about the dangers crude resources pose to our environment.
Also, there's a need to invest more in electricity-powered devices and do away with those powered by crude oil-related resources. This will also do the same thing as the one explained above, which, in a nutshell, curbs the emission of carbon dioxide into our environment, and hopefully this will be a thing in all of our transportation systems, be it cars, buses, trains, ships, planes, and trains.
Last but not least on how to safeguard our environment, in my opinion, is planting more trees. Trees have been through the years identified as a natural purifier of our environment that helps curb toxic gas and gives out free air to our society; it's also instrumental in preserving the soil and as well reduces the chances of flooding and erosion in a place where there's a lot of it, and so I hope it becomes a thing where everyone is encouraged to plant at least one tree each.
