Eternal Love vs. Financial Security: The Dilemma of Modern Life

In life as humans, there are some basic things we need for our wellbeing mentally, psychologically, and socially. When one is absent, it'll be pretty difficult for one to proceed with ease. Among such are food and drinks to fuel our body, money for acquiring basic needs that sustain us, and love for emotional support. All of these can play a huge role in the life of an individual, and lacking any isn't ideal, and so in a situation when I'm asked to choose between eternal love and financial security, I think it's a tough decision to make.

The truth is that both financial security and endless love are essentials that we must have as humans, and without them, life might be miserable; in fact, having one and lacking the other won't make much of a difference in my opinion, and when you possess both, your life tends to be more comfortable and fulfilling to not just you but your community at large.

When we look into this individually for a start, I guess we'll be able to see their importance as well as impact on our lives, and to start with, let me talk about financial security. Financial security simply indicates that someone is wealthy and has enough wealth that prevents them from going bankrupt or needy in a hurry. This is made up of assets in lands and properties, as well as investments and the like.

One of the beauties of being rich is that you'll be able to afford anything you need, which can go one take one satisfied materially and give some form of happiness. Also, being financially secured usually tends to lead people to be attracted to you, although such attraction is mostly due to the wealth and not genuine, meaning when you go broke such people would leave you without blinking, because that's what attracts them in the first place.

So being wealthy might still give room for some form of legit emotional companionship and the like; on the other hand, endless love is an important aspect of life as well. When you have someone who loves you genuinely, it's like winning the jackpot because they tend to stick by you through tick and tin, but then we can't forget the fact that love alone can't keep a relationship in this era because there's more to the heart than just I love you.

While genuine love can help you keep your partner and friends to yourself, lacking financial security can jeopardize that, especially in a situation where the person has to stick with you and yet lacks all the basic needs of life. These can make life miserable for anyone, and with time, love will fade away or they'll have to leave because of their wellbeing.

So in my opinion, I won't be picking one over the other. I can't say because I want to be rich, then completely overrule love, nor will I because of endless genuine love ditch financial security, so both are essential, and I'll prefer to have both for me to have a fulfilling life.
