Achieve Work-Life Balance Without Overexertion
Striking a balance between our work and life is very essential for several reasons, one of which is the flexibility it gives for us to discharge our duties effectively on each part we find ourselves, and another is the level of freedom of time we'll have to control the tides and not be workout due to how tiring disseminating both simultaneously could have on us. Trust me, striking a balance between these two aspects of our lives isn't always an easy task, and I, for one, once struggled with it. In this article, I'll be telling you my ordeals regarding my work-life interaction and if I'm handling it well enough.
A lot of people have the belief that striking a flexible balance between work and life relations is an important task due to how demanding both can be. While at work, you're met with loads of demands and activities that seem to be ending, and at the end of the day, when you go home to relax, you're welcome with another phrase of life's unending tasks that could wear one out, and at the end of the day, you just take a few hours to sleep and resume the same routine the next day and every other day that follows.
Other sets of people I've to come meet have the belief that only the rich and wealthy are the ones who'll have the capacity to reach such heights due to the fact that they aren't as totally involved in most of the activity that both their work and life present to them. I mean, at work, they've got loads of employees and subordinates to get the job done, and at home, they've also got countless maids and house help that help them take care of most of the duties around the house, ultimately leaving them with enough time to navigate between work and life without breaking a sweat.
Personally, I don't think we need to become rich before we can strike a balance between work and life, to the point where we've got enough flexibility to navigate through both without tiring ourselves out and yet still have enough time to space, which can then be used for relaxation, rejuvenation, and the like for the sole purpose of refreshing ourselves to get back in share and take on life and work again.
I actually don't find it easy to discharge both services without breaking a sweat; in fact, there are times when both get to the peak of their demands, and during such moments, both clash with one another, leading to me taking a part of life thought to work and going home from work with junks of work to be done after work. This can be so exhausting, tiring, and more, making one break down and sometimes on able to continue, especially when such continues.
But at the end of the day, I had to sit myself down and realize how the way in treating both aspects isn't helping but leaving a toll on my health and mental wellbeing, and so I opted for a change, one of which is creating a working schedule that'll help me create a blueprint and a roadmap of how and when I'll perform each task without tiring myself out, and with these schedules, my life and the rate of flexibility at which I can navigate between life and work become more seamless.
Also, in order to walk towards striking a balance between work and life, I set clear boundaries so as not to take unfinished work home and not take life challenges into the walls of work. I also only prioritize tasks, delegating only those that matter first and delegating other less important ones to others or postponing them to other days. Saying no is another important thing that's helping me have a flexible balance between both, because always saying yes will get me tangled in a lot of work, but knowing when to say no will keep me from tasks that are beyond my capacity.
One thing that's also helping me greatly is my recent act of reflecting. With that, I can easily discover new things and adjust to act that'll best suit me, while also planning quality family time, which is essential to not making things one-sided. Having enough time to spend with my family not only eases the tension but also has a way of impacting me positively, and those practical practices, among others, are what's helping me achieve flexible work-life balance without overexertion.

Hehe, anyone who doesn't get to actualise that balance will sure breakdown and before you could tell have spent all his youthful days achieving below par what he should have actualised.
On the other end, you have employed beautiful strategies to reach your goal which I guess is working perfectly for you.
We really need that balance in everything we do.. nice post my chief
You're right on point, striking a balance is every essential to get the results we want.
Thanks so much for your kind words
You're welcome Sir
We have a choice. You know, most times, people will be like, “I don’t have a choice”. Well, that’s not true, we do have a choice and that’s why we even get to say we don’t have a choice.
As long as we keep reflecting on ourselves work and life, we will definitely continue to get more balance.
Yea that's absolutely correct, with the right mindset and actions we'll achieve the desired result.
Exactly!
Sometimes, we actually do not have a choice. 🙃
Hehe, not making a choice is a choice too.
If that's the only option, then it is not a choice, love.
Okay, if you say so.
Striking a balance between work and any other thing is not an easy feat. Of course, there are many perks attached to flexibility, but it doesn't come easily for some people.
It is great that you have what works for you. That is what matters.
Yea it's not easy at all, but when we find what works for us depending on the dynamics of such individual nature of work and family.
Thanks so much for your feedback.
Striking the balance between our work and personal life doesn't always come in handy, sometimes it can be difficult, there was a time in my life I felt like I was losing back at my personal life because all I was focusing on was work and how to pay the bills. But as time goes by I began to realize my career isn't all that matters, something else does matter as well and that is my personal life.
Its just for us to find what works best and stay on it, In order to create the balance, and you have what works for you, that's incredible.
That's it my dear, I guess most of us find ourselves at that point at one point in time or another where we prioritize work and earning, but in the end it's draining and make us lose track of time.
It's great to know you find a way to strike a balance and get hold of your life ones again.

When work takes the most of our time, life itself becomes static and boring. Over the years, I have come to realize that life will be boring of you do not create a space for yourself to have fun and relax.
