Do many people have the same phobia as I do? I don't know, but I feel that the dentist is one of the most traumatizing visits, that's why I dedicate myself to take good care of my mouth and floss daily, to avoid these visits that I dread so much. However, when it's time, it's time and here we are. For some time now, I have been feeling a little discomfort in a tooth that has had a root canal for 12 years, because just when I went for a dental cleaning, the dentist intervened that tooth, because according to him it had a "cavity" which triggered a discomfort and with the passing of the days it did not alleviate me, So I decided to go to another dentist where they did an XR to see the reason why it was bothering me and it turned out that I had an infection under the tooth and they had to do a root canal treatment because apart from the infection I had a canal with a fractured instrument from 12 years ago and that was 350 dollars plus the tomography which was 70, plus what I had already spent, so I started to think and think what I could do with that tooth, since I did not want to go through that process again. As the days went by the pain was not relieved and I went to another dentist who opened the tooth and "drained" the pain leaving me that tooth worse than it was, he made that pain worse from 3 to 10 and I started searching on the internet for a specialist in endodontics (which I had to do from the beginning), since it would have saved me a lot of money and time and above all pain. Anyway, after going through 3 dentists who had nothing to do with me, the specialist saw me and today I feel much better. I have had 2 appointments with the specialist who I still had to pay 300 dollars for all the work, although she really looks professional in what she does, besides she is a person who transmits confidence, since she explains to you step by step what she is doing and works with a microscope. I only have one more appointment left, but the pain I had is easing and that leaves me more at ease in my day to day life. After feeling well, I say: what a blessing it is to feel well!

¿Muchas personas tienen la misma fobia que yo? No sé, pero siento que el odontólogo es una de las visitas más traumatizantes, por eso me dedico a cuidarme bien la boca y utilizar el hilo dental diariamente, para evitar estas visitas que tanto temo. Sin embargo, cuando toca, toca y aquí estamos. Desde hace un tiempo atrás, venía sintiendo una pequeña molestia en una muela que tiene endodoncia desde hace 12 años, porque justo cuando fui a una limpieza dental, el odontólogo me intervino esa muela, ya que según tenía una “carie” lo que detonó una molestia y con el pasar de los días no se me aliviaba, así que decidí ir a otro odontólogo donde me hicieron una XR para ver la razón del porqué me molestaba y resulta que tenía una infección debajo de la muela y tenían que hacerme un re tratamiento de conducto porque aparte de la infección tenía un conducto con un instrumento fracturado desde hace 12 años y eso eran 350 dólares hacerlo más la tomografía que era 70, más lo que ya había gastado, por lo que me puse a pensar y pensar qué podía hacer con esa muela, dado que no quería pasar nuevamente por ese proceso. Con el pasar de los días no se me aliviaba el dolor y fui a otro odontólogo que me abrió la muela y me “drenó” el dolor dejándome esa muela peor de lo que estaba, alborotó ese dolor de 3 al 10 y empecé con la búsqueda en internet de una especialista en endodoncia (cosa que tuve que hacer desde un principio), ya que me hubiese ahorrado un montón de plata y tiempo y sobre todo dolor. En fin, luego de pasar por 3 odontólogos que nada que ver, me vio la especialista y ya hoy me siento mucho mejor. Llevo 2 citas con la especialista que igual tuve que pagar 300 dólares por todo el trabajo, aunque de verdad se ve profesional en lo que hace, aparte que es una persona que te transmite confianza, ya que te va explicando el paso a paso de lo que va haciendo y trabaja con microscopio. Ya solo me queda una cita más, pero lo que tenía de dolor, está aliviando y eso ya me deja más tranquila en mi día a día. Luego de sentirme bien, digo: ¡qué bendición es sentirse bien!
