Entering October, the rainy season has come, and the dry season has passed, the dry swamps have returned to water and the dry meadows have turned green again, and the ecosystem has changed, some species have returned to their habitats.

I rode a motorbike to a meadow to be precise near the swamp to look for some species that can be used as photo objects and I will explore slowly to find out the presence of insects in that place.

I was warmly greeted by the giant leaf-leg insect otherwise known as Acanthocephala declivis which landed right on my motorbike, only a few pictures to take and he almost flew off, and I headed for the prairie to continue the hunt.

On a branch, there is a robber fly, better known by its scientific term Ommatius was silently observing his surroundings, this was a threat to these flying insects around, silent and waiting was his trademark in hunting.

He is a genus of flies that have many types, robber flies are still from the family Asilidae in the phylum Arthropoda.

With the ferocity of this predator Perch shows his might and a little camouflage sometimes a little to outwit the flying insects, with his fast movement and strong grip he can easily catch prey.

A few meters from the predator, another predator was sitting on a branch of grass a spider Oxyopes salticus This spider survives by hunting small insects, he is very aggressive, every movement makes him uncomfortable, only a few pictures that I can share here, and this ends our session today.
