Hello everyone! Has it ever happened to you that you have an idea, you start to do it, you stop for a moment and then when you continue it is not the same? 😭

I don't want to fall into the cliché of "the muse has escaped me", but my idea of inspiration is more like an electric scribble in my mind. Sometimes, when I'm interrupted many times while I'm working on something, the "electric doodle" becomes a dot, with no movement, no electricity and no desire. 😅

Today that was happening to me and somehow it had some relevance to the fan art, because it ended up being a kind of figurative fragmentation or jigsaw puzzle in other words.

I go back to using the crayon pencil because I really like that childlike aesthetic. Yes, there are more pencils, I know, but I'm in my crayon season and until I get bored I'll be using it. ✊🏻

This is fan art from the great Forest Healer. It has an influence from the introductions of the Ghibli films (or so the idea has been). Always at the beginning of the film it shows you a short illustrated caption with the central plot. Imagine there is a film where the main character is a Forest Healer, this would be the aesthetics of the caption that would introduce her. In crayon! 👏🏻

No quiero caer en el cliché de "se me ha escapado la musa", pero mi idea de inspiración es más bien un garabato eléctrico en la mente. A veces, cuando me interrumpen muchas veces mientras estoy trabajando en algo, el "garabato eléctrico" se transforma en un punto, sin movimiento, sin electricidad y sin ganas. 😅

Hoy me pasaba eso y de alguna forma tuvo cierta relevancia en el fan art, porque terminó siendo una especie de fragmentación figurativa o rompecabezas en otras palabras.

Vuelvo a usar el lápiz crayón porque en serio me gusta esa estética infantil. Sí, hay más lápices, lo sé, pero estoy en mi temporada crayón y hasta que me aburra lo estaré usando. ✊🏻

Este es un fan art de la grandiosa Forest Healer. Tiene una influencia de las introducciones de las películas de Ghibli (o esa ha sido la idea). Siempre al comienzo de la película te muestra una breve leyenda ilustrada con la trama central. Imagínate que existe una película donde la protagonista es una Forest Healer, así sería la estética de la leyenda que la presentaría. ¡En crayón! 👏🏻

I started with a nice head, which will be transformed into a stained glass drawing.

Empecé por una linda cabeza, que se transformará en un vitral dibujado.

The background colour escaped 😓 there was a moment where the layers went somewhere else and as I'm still learning, I didn't know how to fix it. You can't see it there, but for that simple drawing I used about 20 layers that merged into 4 layers. As I told you, I'm learning from mistakes. 😭

Se escapó el color del fondo 😓 hubo un momento donde se fueron las capas para otro lado y como todavía estoy aprendiendo, no supe cómo solucionarlo. Ahí no se ve, pero para ese simple dibujo usé como 20 capas que se fusionaron en 4 pasos. Como te dije, estoy aprendiendo y cometiendo errores. 😅

How did it turn out? I want a stained-glass window like this, well, it serves as a sketch for those who know how to work with this technique. At the moment I don't have that knowledge, so... 😅
