THE CARD

Flame Imp is a Rare card from the Rewards collection of the Fire deck that has the abilities Flying from level 1 and Swiftness from level 5, at the cost of 3 mana. It is card number 87 created with a total of 100,000 units printed, with 12,100 regular and 503 gold in circulation.

Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability

All friendly Monsters have increased Speed

Flame Imp was one of the first magic damage cards in the Fire deck, which was commanded by the summoner Malric Inferno for a fight focused on physical damage, as it granted a +1 bonus to melee attack.

However, with its high speed (5) and the bonus that guaranteed it +1 due to its Swiftness skill, it made a card almost impossible to be hit, combining speed with the Flying skill.

Nowadays there are ways to fight cards with a lot of speed, either by magic damage or with True Strike, and even with reverse speed battle rules where those with less speed take the initiative.

But at the time Flame Imp was produced, it was a card that could make the difference in big situations. Today I see it more as a collector's card, due to its rarity.

THE PRICE

Because it is a low emission card (100,000) compared to current cards, this makes its value a little high, even if there are other cards with the same mana cost and magic damage with more effective power. Its rarity makes its regular version currently cost more than 2 Hive.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

I asked 2 artificial intelligences to draw a flame imp, and I liked the results, the first intelligence, more refined, even drew it with a playing card model, haha, the second one drew something darker, in fact an Imp, anyway, these were the results:

Tem uma chance maior de evitar ataques corpo a corpo ou à distância de monstros que não possuem a habilidade Voar.

Flame Imp foi uma das primeiras cartas de dano mágico no baralho de Fogo, que era comandado pelo invocador Malric Inferno para uma luta focada em dano físico, já que ele concedia um bônus de +1 para ataque corpo a corpo.

Porém com sua alta velocidade (5) e o bônus que lhe garantia +1 devido a sua habilidade Swiftness tornava uma carta quase impossível de ser atingida, aliando a velocidade com a habilidade Flying.

Hoje em dia há maneiras de ser combater cartas com bastante velocidade, seja por dano mágico ou com True Strike, e até mesmo com regras de batalha de velocidade inversa onde os que tem menos velocidade tomam a iniciativa.

Porém na época que Flame Imp foi produzido, era uma carta que poderia fazer a diferença em grandes situações. Hoje vejo mais ele como uma carta de colecionador, devido a sua raridade.

O PREÇO

Por ser uma carta de pouca emissão (100.000) em comparação com as cartas atuais, isso faz com que seu valor seja um pouco elevado, mesmo que haja outras cartas com o mesmo custo de mana e dano mágico com poder mais efetivo. Sua raridade faz com que sua versão regular custe atualmente mais que 2 Hive.
