WHALE WATCHING FROM ABOVE- VIDEO

While we were out fishing in Moreton Bay in Queensland Australia. We noticed some splashing off in the distance.
So I flew my drone up to get a look at what it was and to my surprise it was a humpback whale and some dolphins playing in the water.
Then I found a mother and her calf just chilling in the water. It was a very special sight that’s for sure 
It was so cool to watch the calf swim alongside its mother. And it even did a spiral spin through the water.
Humpback whales are such a majestic creature!
Not long now until they start migrating north past Moreton island again, can’t wait to get out there and see if I can capture another amazing moment like this!

I shoot this footage on my DJI mini 2 drone.

Very cool. We've had whales spotted off our beach for the last month or so. I can't wait to get out and catch one myself.

Is the DJI mini 2 drone reliable? For how long are you using it already?
I think I wanna buy a drone this year, too...

I have had my DJI mini 2 for over a year now and have had no problems whatsoever with it.
Awesome bit of kit. Definitely recommend.

That was awesome! I've never seen a calf with it's mother before in the wild. What an incredible recording you got with your drone. That was a lucky find!

It was such a suprise to see the mother and calf ! I noticed the one whale splashing about which must of been a male then was lucky enough to spot the other whale which turned out had a calf!!

Mate... I'd pull this down ASAP. It is great footage, but CASA have been cracking down on people flying their drones over whales, it is illegal unless you have a very specific research permit and the fines can be huge.
