Social Media Challenge - Going Head to Head with Kron Llama

Good day to all, how are all of you doing? I am so glad that the developers are hearing the feedback and consistently doing refinement to the new Glint reward system. From adjustment of the reward amount not basing on rank and now the specific rarity draws. These are clear evidence that a developer team is willing to make right changes based on feedback and assessment. In today's post, I will bring to you a crazy match that I just had recently with the dynamic duo of Scarred Llama Mage and Kron The Undying.

Why Is This Pair A Pain to Face
For the longest of time, whenever I meet this 2, it is always a above 90% loss rate due to how good this 2 pair together. Kron is a super strong card that carries Last Stand by itself but usually played Scarred Llama mage, which gives it a +2 in health making it able to heal 4 health each turn and cleanse off any negative buff on it. And when Last Stand is truly in effect, Kron can single handedly take out any foe that stands in its way becaue of the healing and its high magic attack. Time to time, there might small occasions that we manage to take it down and today, I will want to share with you a match that I really feel proud off as I've managed to overcome this crazy duo. To also share, I recently won a Mitica Headhunter from a giveaway and it is also part of the lineup.

Selection Analysis
For my side, because I know there is a blast ruleset, I planted 2 Martyr cards so that Quora gets a double boost while Mitica Headhunter gets a single boost. Quora is a staple here with the double attack, healing and the blood lust, if there is any chance to out heal my opponent, this is the one. Mitica Headhunter is a new card that I won from a giveaway, it gives a nasty 4 damage on hit which gives a good blast effect, it is fast so I decided to include it in my lineup.

On my opponent, wow I see a card that is rarely seen nowadays after it got rotated out, the Unicorn Mustang, a very good card with Void, high attack and fast speed. Single Martyr, a levelled up Khmer Princess and a Furious Chicken, likely these are cards to fill up the lineup and definitely he will place the Kron at the last position. A predictable lineup that is hard to defeat.

Round by Round Synopsis

Round 1 - A myraid of exchanges flying through both side with only my side seeing a casualty with Marksrat falling and triggering Martyr to Quora.

Round 2 - Casualties seen on both sides. Quora kills the Chicken with blast, gaining Blood Lust while Earth Martyr also fell, which gave a good boost to both Quora and Mitica Headhunter. Time for the true stats of my lineup to show up.

Turn 3 - The combination of the my 2 heavy hitter torn apart Unicorn Mustang and Khmer Princess with Quora continuing to grow. One card to go and that Last Stand will trigger on Kron which will be boosted by Martyr as well.

Round 4, Last Stand is here, while I manage to injure Kron, Mitica Headhunter is hanging my a very low health.

Round 5, a double whack by Quora then Mitica Headhunter took the finisher blow on Kron.

Battle Summary
Wow, my lineup amazed me. Quora is a known performer but Mitica Headhunter is a very good card as well and did quite a fair bit of damage in this match. It is fast and hits real hard. A real gem. When Quora grew substantially, she become a crazy card and Kron had no way to heal fast enough. A great win and I love how the whole match went.
