Social Media Challenge - Celebrating 6 Years of Splinterlands Part 4

Hello all, how have all of you been. I hope all of you are doing well. The celebrations for 6 years of Splinterlands continues! It is really an amazing journey no matter how long you've been part of it. I hope you have been taking part in the various activities that is happening during the celebrations to mark this amazing milestone. Today I would want to turn back time and share with the community my favourite match ever since I started playing Splinterlands.

Celebrate The Amazing 6 Years
Before we go into the favourite match sharing, I would like to once again remind you on what had happened in the celebrations.

There were so many post on X for Splinterlands for you to interact and win some packs. Have you managed to win any?

The next thing is the Rise of The Champion tournament that is ongoing. Have you taken part in it and how are you progressing as Round 1 is currently ongoing. Wishing you the best of luck for this tournament.

Favourite Match To Date

No matter who, I am sure you will have a battle that you will remember up till today because it is something significant for you because you might have defeated your friend whom is really strong at playing or just simply your overcome the odds and defeated a lineup that you never dream of defeating.

And for me, my favourite match to date is the first time I used a very down to earth lineup and defeated a star studded lineup with Kron and Llama. For newer players whom are playing modern and not yet met against Kron Llama, this is a lineup that is legit hard to defeat due to the Last Stand and the Healing/High Magic Attack that Kron has. And whenever I met them, I will just click skip because the chances of winning them is almost nil. However, in this particular match, tide had change. And without further ado, here's the match.

My lineup:
Summoner - Lorna Shine (Rare)
Position 1 - Gargoya Scrapper (Common)
Position 2 - Silvershield Knight (Common)
Position 3 - Creeping Ooze (Common)
Position 4 - Feral Spirit (Common)
Position 5 - Silvershield Assassin (Rare)
Position 6 - Celestial Harpy (Rare)

Opponent Lineup
Summoner - Scarred Llama Mage (Legendary)
Position 1 - Furious Chicken (Rare)
Position 2 - Fungus Fiend (Legendary)
Position 3 - Halfling Alchemist (Epic)
Position 4 - Doctor Blight (Legendary)
Position 5 - Kron The Undying (Legendary)

Pre Battle Assessment - From the looks of, this is as good as a goner. In terms of cards used, opponent had a edge over me in terms of rarity and also individual card ability. Opponent even had Doctor Blight who has Affliction in consideration in case opponent has a same idea of high healing to sustain the match.

Battle
Round 1: Both sides suffered casualty with me losing Gargoya Scrapper while opponent losing the chicken.

Round 2: I took out Fungus Fiend and faced a Halfling Alchemist that cannot attack. One thing to note, Silvershield Knight health is very low already.

Round 3: Wow! Miracle happened when all my cards all attacked on Kron and killed it before it can heal or activate Last Stand. Looks like tide is turning now.

Round 4/5, Halfling Alchemist was taken out in round 4 triggering Last Stand on Dr Blight whom was killed off in round 5. Woohoo! Kron Llama lineup smashed!

Post Battle Conclusion: Wow! This was totally not expected especially with the cards seen in my opponent's lineup. And this gave me the understanding that if a lineup is being planned properly and having loads of synergy, even the biggest possible enemies can be taken down. And this is something that I want to share with the community that, as we play, we learn and see how cards syngergize together to get better outcomes to win the battles we face.
