Community Engagement Challenge: Ramp Up Your Soul Bound Reward Cards

Prelude
Hi all, good day to all of you. It's time again for Community Engagement Challenge. For today, I would like to focus on managing of collection and specifically on the Soul Bound Reward Cards. One of my biggest regret back then during Chaos Legion Soul Bound release was that I didn't pay too much attention to it and didn't fight hard enough to gather more of it. And when Glint system was announced towards the end of that release, I also didn't put in enough effort to gather more Glint to get those Soul Bound Reward cards from Chaos Legion and now the only way is to buy them off the market. So while Rebellion Soul Bound Reward Cards are active, let's look at how to maximize our collection to ensure we get what we need before we no longer able to get more of it.

Soul Bound Reward Cards
Other than the Chaos Legion Soul Bound Reward Cards which can only be bought from market place right now, there are 2 other forms of Soul Bound Reward Cards that we can possibly obtain and through 2 different kind of game tokens and I will cover both of them in today's post.

Gladius Cards
The gladiators that we use in brawl matches or when using a conscript summoner, these are ferocious cards that all come with Blood Lust ability which ramps up the stats when they kill an opponent card. The Gladius cards can be obtained via purchasing Gladius cases from Guild Shop as seen below:

Each Gladius case cost 2000 merits and you can see how much merit you have beside the medallion icon and I currently have 478 merit at the moment. Do note that only when your guild shop has reached level 2 then only you can start purchasing Gladius cases. So make sure you are in a guild that have a level 2 guild shop.

How to obtain merit?
Merit can be obtained in 2 methods, first is through participation in guild brawls which gives merits as brawl rewards. The other method is through opening of reward chest, which gives a random chance of obtaining merits on top of other rewards that are available in guild chest.

Importance of Gladius Cards
Because of conscript summoners that came from previous Chaos Legion Soul Bound and also when playing with the ruleset of Are You Not Entertained, Gladius cards can be used in ranked battles. These cards add a strong variety to your collection and quite a few of them are not easy opponents to face in the likes of Quora which can overturn a matchup with ease when being able to chew up card by card. My personal take is that just keep participating in brawls and build up your Gladius collection as they are really strong when you are able to use them.

Rebellion Soul Bound Reward Cards
The next category of Soul Bound Reward Cards that we will look at are the ones from the Rebellion set. I've missed out on a significant amount from the Chaos Legion set and I hope I will be able to get more out of this set from Rebellion. These are cards that can be used normally alongside those that we can get from packs and marketplace. And to be honest, many of which are rather impressive be it through stats or even with abilities. To also note there are new unique abilities that are exclusive to this set of Soul Bound Reward cards.

To get hold of Rebellion Soul Bound Cards, you will need Glint, which will be used to draw single cards of different rarity or obtaining the cards from loot chest.

In order to be able to draw, we will need to accumulate Glint and it will be done through winning ranked battles. But to be more effective, we will need to stake up the SPS we have in order to obtain more glint out of each match. To know how much Glint you can earn from each match, you can look at the Glint boost to know how much Glint you can earn.

Importance of Rebellion Soul Bound Reward Cards
These are cards that are parallel to that of those that we can obtain from packs. They are not weak cards but on the contrary they do help to make up various combo that can be deadly and gives significant advantage in gameplay. I've seen so many amazing gameplays for these cards and I really hope that I can collect as much as I can, and so must you! The more you have, the higher level of cards you will have. Many of which are really strong utility cards in lineup. The epic cards in this set are exceptional so do get hold of them. Below is what I have collected thus far and hoping to get more as soon as possible:

As you can see from the screenshots, my collection is still relatively small which I intend to ramp up and gather more glint to open up more card draws and loot chest. Let's all continue to collect and get more Rebellion Soul Bound Reward Cards as at high level, these are instrumental to you match ups.

Wrap Up
I did have a regret in the previous set which is making it a little harder for me in the present battling context but I am now fired up to gather as much Glint as I can continue to build up my collection for the Rebellion set which gathering more Merits to get more from the Gladius set.
