Adapting to Modern: Prepare to Get More Rebellion Soul Bound Reward Cards Part 12

Prelude
Welcome back to another new post on Adapting to Modern where I look at how I crossed over from playing in Wild Battles till today on Modern Battles, sharing with the community the struggles, the strategies and things I do to move towards playing in Modern. Recently on the battlefield I do see much more Rebellion Soul Bound reward cards in play and many of them have used it really well. This made me wonder how much glint one can actually earn from daily battling as I find that I am somehow a little low in terms of gaining glint. But nevertheless, I will continue to stake up the SPS that I gained from my daily battles and brawl matches.

The new Rebellion Soul Bound reward cards so far as they have been featured often in my gameplay be it in daily battles or brawls and I am certain as I continue to obtain more copies of them and having them levelled up, they will showcase even more prowess on the battlefield. It is now very attractive as compared to previous where we need to hope for gold foil cards to appear while using alchemy potions to boost our chances, but today in the glint shop, we are now able to purchase directly for gold foil card based on individual rarities.

Rebellion Soul Bound Reward Cards

End of season is almost upon us, how much Glint have you accumulated and what chest will you be pulling? The last I tried to open the ultimate chest didn't do too well as there weren't much cards in them which was a little disappointing, let's hope I can gather more cards the next round when I get more chests.

Let's continue from last week where we reviewed 1 epic card and 1 legendary card for the earth splinter. Now we move on to the final earth splinter legendary card and a life splinter common card.

Warborn Chieftain

First card that we will look at today is the Warborn Chieftain. When I look at this card, I think it will be another massive tank for earth splinter. But it will only truly shine when it minimally reach level 2 and higher. While this is so, this card at level 1 is also able to perform well against decks that are magic heavy. Couple this with Immortalis, it will be a pain for your opponent for sure with this card becoming like a mini Oshannus with Void and Phase. At level 2 and higher, it gains the melee aspect of tank with the Shield ability being added to it. The only pity I had for this card is that the speed stat is only stuck at 3. Though I guess, if it ramps higher, this card might become a little too OP. Otherwise, really a very decent card which can allow us to have choices when playing certain ruleset to have more flexibility to counter opponent's expected play.

Nimbledook Explorer

Next card to look at will be the first life splinter common card which is Nimbledook Explorer. 4 mana means good for Little League. Ability wise is quite interesting, as it will ownself boost the armour stat with protect and subsequently when level up will gain armoured strike which makes it great to strike using its armour stat. Not only that such a card is also good for weapons training to gain the attacks from the cards it learn from. I personally think it is not a bad card but it will require additional cards to enable it to be used to the fullest.

Assessment
My take and assessment is the Warborn Chieftain is a very decent tank option that is being added to earth splinter for added consideration and will do well when paired with complimentary summoner such as Immortalis. It can shut down most things properly when nicely played. Whereas for Nimbledook Explorer, this is a card when being part of a cluster of cards to enable it will become a very addition to the lineup. Even without the other cards, at higher levels, it can even strike with its armour stats which is really great. Definitely a good card to use and easy to level up since it is a common card.

In terms of rating, Warborn Chieftain should get around 4/5 while Nimbledook Explorer, I would give it a 3.5/5.

Wrap Up
As I do up the review of various cards, they are all nice and useful cards out of the pool of Soul Bound reward cards which can really boost our gameplay well. So let's continue to battle, clock more Glint, then start putting the cards into greater utility be it in ranked or even during brawl. I will continue to research and look at the others card and will share another 2 cards in the next post.
