5 Minute Freewrite - The Amber Light

Doing a challenge on 5 minute Freewrite, please see below for my story:

Richard after being notified by his car agent that his new car is ready, headed down to the car dealer's office and collected his new ride.

After being brought to the collection point by the receptionist, there it was, Richard's new ride. The car had a nice coat of paint and was well polished. His agent handed Richard his new car keys and gave Richard a good handshake to thank him for his purchase.

As Richard entered his new car, the smell of new leather made him feel real good. He started the engine, stepped on the accelerator and with a loud engine roar, his new car has officially hit the roads.

Because this was a sports car, as Richard drove by, many heads turned which made Richard feel good to be owning this car. And as he exited the expressway, he is met with the traffic light, turning from green light to amber. Now it is a decision that Richard has to make, should he beat the amber light?

Richard had faith, this car has awesome specifications and way better than his previous, he slammed the accelerator and the car dashed forward. Because of the excitement, Richard did not realize the amber lights turn red just as he crossed the traffic light.

Just as he crossed, he saw a traffic police right at the side of the road. His heart sank, a hefty fine with points deduction is incoming.
