5 Minute Freewrite - Red Sunset

John opened his dry cabinet and took out his DSLR camera. It's been a while since he had been out shooting due to his busy schedules and work commitments.

It felt so good to be touching the hand grip of the camera once again. This is something that John loves to do previously when he was less busy. He created wonderful images of landscapes, people and culture.

He placed his camera into a camera bag alongside some accessories and headed towards the beach. And upon reaching the beach, he headed to the edge of the coast line and started setting up his tripod. He wanted to shoot some motion blur from the waves movement hence popped up a neutral density filter to the front of the camera lens.

As he looked up, sunset moment is upon him and he sees an exceptional red sunset. Instead of the usual orange, today the sky is redder than usual. John got ready and started snapping happily to ensure that he capture this rare moment.

Amazing scenes don't last, the redness faded and it moved to blue hour. John was so glad that he made the trip today and elated with his photos captured today.
