RE: The Latin American Report # 363
You are viewing a single comment's thread:
It is unrealistic to hope for salvation from a country that sabotages itself to prosecute political purposes. Cuba's salvation is unlikely to come from the USA, because both ostensible political parties are in fact mutually controlled opposition parties used by a uniparty to oppress Americans for profit and power on both national and global scales.
I am not on the ground and cannot usefully advise you or Cuba, but where I am I strive to decentralize my assets, my income, and every aspect of the necessities I require so that treachery and fraud (which is incessant) from any given source is limited in effect.
Thanks!

I agree with your assessment of the attitude of those running the business of politics in Washington. My point about the need for a less aggressive attitude towards Cuba stems from the fact that there are many people here that we cannot reach with a literacy revolution about the potential of many technologies that liberate us from every yoke. Somehow I always find a way to get out to sea, particularly counting on my Hive rewards in recent years, but many, unfortunately, depend on certain welfare policies. To that extent, the Cuban government is quite tied hand and foot in a globalized world where the United States exerts very tight control. Thanks again for your always sound feedback.
