𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗮ñ𝗼𝗹

Una de las cosas que más destaca de Hive y le aporta gran valor es su comunidad que siempre está buscando como impulsar la plataforma, siendo una de sus maneras de hacerlo el ofrecer una mano amiga a quien lo necesite. Este diciembre la comunidad @hivesrecarpet propuso una actividad muy noble titulada "Pongamos de moda la felicidad", en la cual se canalizó a las chicas que participamos en el concurso Hive's Top Model para ser voluntarias y receptoras de donaciones (ropa en buen estado, alimentos no perecederos, juguetes...) de quienes quisieran aportar su granito de arena tanto dentro como fuera de la comunidad.

La actividad fue realizada ayer viernes 15 de diciembre del año en curso en Venezuela y Latinoamérica. En Caracas (donde me encuentro actualmente), @madefrance, @maydelvalle y mi persona nos encargamos de llevar lo recolectado a la Parroquia María Auxiliadora, nuestro centro de acopio escogido. De todas yo fui la primera en llegar y, sere honesta, quede sorprendida por la cantidad de personas en estado de necesidad que se encontraban ahí esperando donaciones, algunas se acercaban para ojear que había traído y algunas incluso me pedían que les donara algo, cosa que me dejo pensativa. Distintas realidades, experiencia enriquecedora, pero que abre los ojos a una realidad que aunque sabemos que existe, si no se ve o se vive, no se comprende en su totalidad.

Al llegar @madefrance y @maydelvalle, juntamos todo lo recolectado, nos pusimos nuestros gorritos navideños entregados por @madefrance cortesía de @hivesredcarpet y @liketu, para luego repartir a quienes estaban en la parroquia unas ricas galletas que venían en unos bonitos recipientes los cuales terminamos regalando a unas pequeñas niñas. Posterior a esto, llego el momento para el que principalmente nos preparamos, entregamos las donaciones a uno de los representantes de la parroquia, él se encarga de distribuirlas a quienes más lo necesiten. Repartir las galletas fue una parte de la jornada que me gusto bastante, sobre todo a los niños y el charlar con los adultos mayores, también, confirmo que los pequeños gestos amables son muy importantes, más cuando no son esperados.

La actividad resultó un éxito, aquí en Caracas planeamos volver a repetirla pronto para seguir poniendo de moda la felicidad y proyectamos que el resultado sea aún mejor porque sabemos que más personas querrán sumarse. Sin duda la experiencia vivida hoy es de esas que me gusta mantener en mi memoria, ya que me hacen reflexionar, agradecer y recordar que los seres humanos siempre podemos ayudarnos entre nosotros, la luz esparcida se perpetua más que la oscuridad. Qué alegría pensar que muchas personas se verán beneficiadas por nuestros aportes y que soy parte de una comunidad especial con grandes valores que me deja ser yo e impulsa a mejorar.

Gracias totales y felicidades a las moderadoras de la comunidad por promover estas actividades. Felicidades también a todas las chicas que participamos e hicimos posible regalar sonrisas este diciembre del 2023. ❤️

𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵

One of the things that stands out the most about Hive and brings great value to it is its community that is always seeking to promote the platform and one of its ways to do so is to offer a helping hand to those who need it. This December the @hivesrecarpet community proposed a very noble activity titled "Let's make happiness fashionable", in which the girls who participated in the Hive's Top Model contest were encouraged to be volunteers and receptors of donations (clothes in good condition, non-perishable food, toys...) from those who wanted to contribute their bit both inside and outside the community.

The activity was held yesterday, Friday December 15 of this year in Venezuela and Latin America. In Caracas (where I am currently), @madefrance, @maydelvalle and myself were in charge of taking the collected items to the María Auxiliadora Church, our chosen location. I was the first to arrive and I'll be honest, I was surprised by the amount of people in need that were there waiting for donations, some came to look at what I had brought and some even asked me to donate them something, which left me thoughtful. Different realities, an enriching experience, but one that opens our eyes to a reality that although we know it exists, if it is not seen or lived, we cannot fully understand it.

When @madefrance and @maydelvalle arrived, we gather everything collected, we put on our Christmas hats given by @madefrance courtesy of @hivesredcarpet and @liketu, to then distribute to those who were in the church some delicious cookies that came in beautiful boxes which we ended up gifting to some little girls. After this, came the moment for which we mainly prepared, we delivered the donations to one of the representatives of the church, he is responsible for distributing them to those who need it most. Handing out the cookies was a part of the activity that I enjoyed a lot, especially to the children and chatting with the elders, I confirmed that small kind gestures are very important, especially when they are not expected.

The activity was a success, here in Caracas we plan to repeat it soon to continue making happiness fashionable and we project that the result will be even better because we know that more people will want to join us. Undoubtedly the experience lived today is one of those that I like to keep in my memory, because it makes me reflect, be grateful and remember that human beings can always help each other, the spread light perpetuates more than darkness. What a joy to think that many people will benefit from our contributions and that I'm part of a special community with great values that lets me be me and encourages me to improve.
