Vikings: Valhalla | The Battle Continues

Wow this is one of the best series I have watch so far, had to rewatch the moving right from the old vikings movie which talked about the reign of Ragnar Lothbrok, Floki and the rest, there is no way you will really understand the new Vikings Valhalla without watching the old one. I kind of love watching Sword fight movies especially the shedding of blood, the movie was based on the fight between Christendom and the traditional belief which they call pegan, before christianity came, people have beliefs in various gods like Odin, Thor because they belief they are powerful and keep them safe, but the Romans who believe in Christianity came, they start forcing people in accepting their beliefs and if you don't, they kill, the rampage went all and all and the vikings were their main targets but this people had to fight back one way or the other, In the Vikings, the death of Ragnar really pain me and also didn't like how is offsprings fought and kill each other just for the throne.

The Valhalla aspected started off with the wrong decision made by the king of England years after Ragnar era fought to make peace and some vikings move to England, now because you as a king feared this people are growing on your land and at a point you decided to eliminated all of them, it was a terrible mistake and that sprung up every vikings in faraway land angry, they came together just to revenge a year later, Fredis and leif also came around to revenge the christain viking that rape Fredis and gave her a cross mark at her back, things changed and they got stuck in the battle and they (the greenlanders) were the main reason why they conquer England but no matter how you come together with a common goal, there will still be some greedy ones with their own selfish goals

What I Hate In The Story

I kind of hate the fact that most of them want to be king of Norway especially the brothers and they can't respect each other enough to support each other and they end up killing each other for a throne, well they want the power, also the vikings that accepted Christianity started hating on the one that don't, come on, this were your belief from the start before you got converted, now you see your people as your enemy, the one that brought the belief were just using the converted vikings as a tool and ready to discard or eliminate them if they have the chance to, well stuff like this still go on in this present day world. Also hate the fact that this people are too comfortable in the land they weren't wanted in the first place, especially in Constantinople where Leif, Harald and some vikings went to with the emperor queen, even though they were the forces that help in Constantinople battles and victories, they weren't wanted, the hatred was much and Leif sense it but Harald was too blinded with his mission to be king of Norway and to acquire riches so he can have men around him, If Leif didn't leave Constantinople at that point, He might have die with the other vikings but Harald still fought his way out of the mess

The Funniest Plot

One of the funniest story was when the power-hungry Olaf (Harald brother) came to conquer Kattegat against the will of Canute ( the viking king of England) and Harald, he was able to win the coup because that is what I will call it by tricking Canute wife (who later became queen of Kattegat) to keep the fleet from Canute Father who is one warrior feared by all vikings but the father also used tricky way to get back the fleet and came to punish Olaf for his betrayal, the coup victory only last for some minutes because Olaf fled and regretted his actions and the sweetest part was how he die in the hand of Freydis in Jomsborg.

I really love this series but I later found out Netflix cancelled it which will be an obstacles to the concluding part which should be in season 4, after King Canute die, I really want to know who will take over England between his wife who was suppose to be the queen of england, his nephew, his step sons and his main sons, I know it will be a great war. Also I was curious to know how Leif and Freydis will sort out the new issue between Freydis and their father in greenlands and also move her people out of greenlands to find the yet to be discovered Gold land. They need to find a way to continue this movie.
