The cost of living they say is already choking the living and at this point it is getting really worst and it will reach some point where the case of chasing a goat to a point where there is no escape will happen and the goat will have no other option than to face and attack you. The major issue we do have back in the days when it come to transportation was the traffic or bad roads which was really common then, anytime I board a bus or taxi and we had to pass bad areas especially during the raining season, the drivers will start cursing the government because bad roads have no good intention for their vehicles, at times during the dry season, I always vex a lot because of the dust we do encounter, you don't dare wear white cloth during that moment or else you will blame yourself when dust turn it to brown, there were few complains about fuel because it was less than 200 naira then.

But since last year, high increase in fuel price has been the top complaint so far and it is gradually getting worse day by day because in this part of the country, what every go up especially in price will never come down, we weren't warn at all, all we got was fuel subsidy price will be remove and a new solution will be implemented but everything they said was all lie, I remembered i not buy the fuel at 260 the day before it increased, I was even laughing when I saw people lining up with kegs to buy and keep at home, some were planning to do black market business, got on and needed to visit someone the next day in Lagos, work up and boom fuel price was already at 600 and very scarce because fuel station decide not to sell, I had no option but to get it at that price. From that point things started getting way worse than we even expect and right now I got it for 900 naira per liter yesterday when going to church.

The Issue here is not the fact that the country can't fix this issue but they just refuse to do it, instead they channel all fund into stuff that aren't necessary (misplaced priorities), the news we heard recently even make it really worst, we don't know if it is true or not, apparently a man have been the one monopolizing the whole petroleum thing and he might be the major factor to why the refinery in nigeria aren't working because he own the main refinery receiving the whole petroleum in another country and selling it back to Nigeria, he also own the main marketers who decided the final fuel price in the country and now we heard he is secretly receiving the fuel subsidy money, this is really getting out of hand with no solution as at now. To really solve this, they need to first block the main man source by repairing the refinery and prevent the export of crude oil, it should be refine in the country instead of exporting at low price and buying the product and high price, if that isn't fixed, there is no solution at all.

This country actually has so much to work on, fr! How can one man be given so much power? It just shows how corrupt our leaders are, lol. I hope a positive change will happen soon.

AS citizens we ask questions to fellow citizens, what we have been doing for years, it tiring and only a black swan effect can change things.
