The Sleepless Night | I Did It Again
At this rate, I think I have to start using sleeping pills every night just to be able to have my proper night sleep, I thought it was just a normal stuff until my body started adjusting to it. People use to say you can't cheat nature but it is way easy to change nature time. Recently, I have been finding it really hard to sleep, I can still remember those days when i don't joke with sleep, I do make sure i went to bed early before 11pm so I can wake up early until I turned a full night walker that don't sleep till around 2-3am doing nothing that surfing the net, watching movies or playing games.
I thought it was insomia though, there was this day I fell sick for days because I couldn't sleep well, still can't figured what I did that day but I was up all night till 7am before I could sleep, I had to just inform some of my friends and they told me to use sleeping pills, I hate drugs or injection so I couldn't. Yesterday we had an amazing night program in church titled "Valentine Movie Night" which was organised by the youth church, at least if we don't have anyone to take out or celebrate val with, they had to bring up the program just to make sure we did something. I was skeptical about it though because I will rather stay at home than going to church at night and I know this people, they might turn it into a praying night vigil but my sister change my mind at the end but I had to give her a condition, if they change it to vigil instead of movie night, we will be coming home or I will just sleep of in the car.
We got there and I was surprised with the turn up, we were like 50 that show up yesterday, we had to start listing some movies we can watch that night, we picked 8 movies and pull up a poll on whatsap, the plan is to watch 2 which get the highest vote, we list beekeeper, treasures in the sky, adire, miracle in cell 7, breathe of life, a tribe called judah, aquaman (the lost kingdom) and breakthrough. Apparently, I already watch 7 of the movies except miracle in cell 7 which was really hyped some time back and according to them, the movie is also heart touching and emotional but I just decided I won't be watching it, even though it is church based, we wanted bee keeper and Aquaman but beekeeper and miracle in cell 7 took the lead.
Beekeeper was about a guy who was a retired secret agent known as beekeepers and he love taking care of hive (peoples who need help), his neighbour (an old woman) was scammed and she shot herself in regret but he took it personal to seek revenge, he find the culprit who was the president son and killed him at the end, it was really a dangerous and tough mission but he make sure he punished the offender. Instead of miracle in cell 7, we watch breakthrough, it was really late and people were falling asleep already, breakthrough was about a boy who was adopted because his parent rejected him at 9month, he fell into an ice lake and was deep down for like 20-25mins, people already gave up on him because he was long gone (dead) but his adopted mom faith in christ brought him back, it was really a heart touching movie, I couldn't cry (men dont cry) but I know what I felt while watching the movie.
I had to run away around 6am when they were about to watch Aquaman, I was feeling the sleep already and somehow hungry, It was really an amazing moment, a mini cinema experience, we got popcorn, drink and bread with mayonnaise to top it.
