The Healers Taking Over The Battle | Battle Mage Challenge

The end of the first season after the major update ended well yesterday and I was able to reach some rating I couldn't reach in a long while but I wasn't happy since I couldn't reach 2800 to enter the next league which is diamond 3 just to boost my reward in next season and also for the first time, I use up my energy while trying to rank up. I was able to get 46 seasonal chest and after opening I saw some juicy soulbound cards and gf common card, a summoner, 2 chaos pack and 16sps. The 5x eternan brune I received gave me some kind of joy though since I'm trying to build up my gladiator summoners which will be really useful in battle since they will always allow use to use gladiators in battle and most gladiators are cool cards but rarely use in ranked battles.

This week battle mage challenge is ending soon and the ruleset chosen which is the Heavy Hitters rule, this rule give all monster the knockout ability which only work if you pair it with the stun ability, anytime a monster card is stunned, the knockout ability deal double damage to such monster card which is quite interesting but most times, the stun ability is rarely use in battle especially from my end here, I have other ability i do look out to and I do neglect the one with stun or knockout ability. I had this battle with spartacus 12 and apparently we had the heavy hitters ruleset paired with Super sneak which give all melee cards the sneak ability and also the Are you not entertained rule set that allow one gladiator in the battle, this two extra ruleset made me forget heavy hitters really exist since my focus is to win the battle, so we had 51 mana capped which is huge and we could pick from any element except fire and death.

Since I noticed we can use a gladiator, I already knew I will be choosing earth element but just decided to pair it with dragon element and decided to pick the following cards, Quix the Devious as my summoner with 1 reduction in speed and range attack which will be affecting my opponent monster cards, Dijnn Chwala as my front line with good stats and also the thorn and enrage ability always make it my favourite, I was suppose to use it as my backline based on the rule but I have a hidden agenda for that. I support it with Pelacor Mercenary which is also a melee card with the healing ability since we have the super sneak rule, I just wish they all have piercing ability to make their attack more deadly, I need a tank healer for Djinn chwala so I picked Goblin Psychic and the affliction ability just to prevent most of my opponent cards from healing up, well it really didn't matter since he later came up with non healing cards.

Quora Towershead which I can't miss in this kind of battle due to the double attack and also the gladiator ability which increase all the stats anytime it destroy a monster card and to top it all, it can heal itself, the I use 1 mana Mycelic Morphoid with the torn ability just to fill that spot since I have 1 mana left and lastly is the almighty Agor Longtail with both melee and magic attack, enough health and amour with different abilities like flying, taunt, void amour and healing which make it extremely strong if paired well with some certain abilities and mostly use in higher league. I was actually satisfied with my selection, then I submitted my battle.

I was surprised with my opponent selection since he decided to use a gladiator based summoner which gave him chance to use extra gladiator but his monster card selection were not strong enough compare to what I brought on board, most of my cards have the ability to heal up which replenish their health each round while his card cant heal, that gave me more advantage over him and I was able to destroy his card in 5 rounds and won the battle.
