The Anti- Warrior | The Magic Depletion

The splinterland auction for the special card Heloise the Hollow: a legendary death-earth antihero is currently ongoing and according to the announcement, we will only have 100 of its kind up for grab at an auction price and with what I have seen so far, the winning price is nothing less than 1million dec yet, this particular card is really an op card who refuse to die in battle since it can always self-resurrect as long as there are non-weary card on board, I literally watch a battle where the player use it against her opponent, she had to pair it with her top cards and summoner and watching how the battle play, really freak me out because I don't think it can be defeated yet, it kept on coming up and pairing it with lot of Triage card make it stronger. I really hope not to meet that particular card in lower league battle yet, it should just be a champion league based card.

This week is still about the card strategy guide and for the week, I will be talking about 2 cards than can work hand in hand based on their abilities, most important aspect in battle is to make use of cards that are at least maxed or leveled to a certain level that showcase some of their important abilities, my card combo today are Djinn Oshannus and Angelic Manderin. Since the existence of Djinn Oshannus in the water realm, it has been one of my favorite magic cards, I call it the Anti-magic deflector and main reason is based on the abilities attached to it, we have Void which reduce magic damage by 50%, in most magic based battle or when Briar Patch ruleset is present, it is very obvious users will want to make use of magic cards so as to avoid the extra thorn damage, so in this case, people make sure they use either cards with void ability or summoner that can give void to all unit. When the Phase Ability came with it, which do make magic cards to miss the particular unit, I knew it will be a game changer especially if enough speed is apply and lastly was the Forcefield which is the weapon fashioned against card with 5+ strength, it only allow them to deal just 1 damage. Let take a quick look at Angelic Mandarin which is one of the low mana range cards with huge health and speed stat, this particular card if maxed came in with Silence ability which reduce opponent magic attack by -1 and also the Triage which heal ally back-line cards with the most damage by 1/3 max health, this particular ability came into play to support Tank heal in most cases.

Checking out this particular battle I had with Rottencrypto, the ruleset we had Unprotected, Ferocity and Briar patch and also with 15mana capped which is really low made me thought of the best combo to use, I can't use melee cards because of the extra thorn reflect damage and the mana is really low, I picked my dragon summoner Quix the Devious to add -1 speed and range to his unit (incase he decided to use range card), then I picked Djinn Oshannus as my front line since I know it will be a magic card battle, I need to silence him so I picked my Angelic Mandarin to add the extra silence ability then submitted the battle, he really came as predicted,

He made use of every abilities he can and also reduce my range attack by using headwinds but I reduce his djinn with my silence ability. The battle went smoothly while I was destroying his low start cards, I think he though whatever card I decided to use will be at it lowest before his own Djinn oshannus came to the frontline position but he was surprised. When every you have a low mana capped battle always look for the possible unit to make use of and also, what you will be using should be strong and be inline with your ruleset, it is very important.
