Never Underestimate A Parent Love | Saving Onome

Some movies they say do touches the soul from different angles and I will say this particular nollywood movie is kind of exceptional because it really made me thing to what extend can a parent really love their children and at what length will they go just to keep them alive. I visited a friend of mine and while going through the movies he have on his flash, I saw this particular movie titled "Saving Onome", it was a movie about a particular couple ( won't say a couple because they weren't married) but they gave birth to a daughter who later had heart disease and needed operation so she can survive but they were poor and barely made enough even the girls dad and family couldn't help. Because they were desperate to get money so they can save their daughter who has just 3 more weeks left, the man join force with armed robbers to rob a bank as their driver.

I was just laughing because that scene was a stupid scene, he was just shaking all through and they got caught, 2 were shot out of 4 and the remaining two, the guy and one other robber manage to escape, I was somehow happy for him because it would have been worse, he went back to the hospital to tell his girl about the failed robbery attempt, their hope of raising 10m in that short time was almost dashed. At some point, the wife almost slept with the husband boss just to raised the money and the husband told her, if she carried out that plan to sleep with his boss, she will actually gain her daughter back but will lose him forever so she couldn't but at some point she went back to the boss at night but instead of sleeping with him, she overheard the boss discussion with an accomplice to rob the accomplice brother who has a charity organisation but secretly use it for money laundering, so she cornered and kidnapped the guy with the whole idea with the help of her husband.

So they went ahead to carry out the second robbery plan and on this faithful night, their help was almost successful because she later had access to the money room and pack as much as she can while throwing it down through the varander to his husband and accomplice but they got caught and she had to jump down but nemesis caught up with them, the police arrested them even though she got away but because of love she came back after hiding one of the money bag in a secret place. They were charge to court but because of their desperation to save their daughter, they were sent to 5years in prison and the public supported them by raising the fund for the operation which was successful yet they serve their jail term before getting free.

One main question is, to what length can you go as a parent for your child especially when it is between the life and death situation? Never underestimate a parent love
