Getting Scammed | My Story

well I think when it come to getting scammed, at some point many people have gotten their own fair share of it, it is always a funny scenario after realizing you just get scammed by someone and based on how wise you were, you fell into the trap and lost certain amount of money. I have been scammed at some point but will love to share the story here. Back then in my university days, I was still new to online business especially cryptocurrency as an hustler so I only know few things, at that point we know what bitcoin was and also there are ways to mine cryptos and earn what you mine as reward, it was somehow common then so most people were looking for every possible means to mine.
I was just trying to find ways to earn money legally as a student and I was really broke back then, I weekly pocket money was peg at 2k and it wasn't enough and I can't complain. So that prompt me into finding other source to earn from, I came upon some mining site, mining games and all and they were real, got few dollars from them. One faithful morning while scrolling through facebook, I came upon a post which mention stuff about buying some access to a bitcoin mining site and earn well and this person even showed withdrawing proof and it was really convincing and look real, back then I didn't know stuff like that can be edited just to trick people.
I was interested so i Dm the person on the app, then the person started explaining, the more I ask question about it the more the person keep dropping answers then he said I have to pay 50$ to get access and that really shock me, I was a student with just 2k pocket money which isn't up to 5$ then, where the hell will i see 50bucks yet I want the offer, I started begging the person, while stating my problem, but the person said 50 or nothing, I even told the person I'm a student bla bla, if i try it out and it work, I will pay him and all but he said no, then he ask how much I have and I told him 5$, he waited for some thing then ask me to send it to his wallet address in usdt, I was happy that finally I will have something tangible to earn from and get back my money but something happened.
He blocked me immediately after sending the money, I was really pained because that was my last card but what can i do at that moment "nothing", I saw lot of red flags before making the transaction but I just ignore everything with the hope that it is real and I can make few bucks back in return. I have been careful since then never to invest in what I have no idea about.
It’s really weird how the red flags are always visible but we’re quick to ignore them just because of how desperate we are. It’s sad how you lost the only money you had to a total stranger. How did you eat that day?
desperation at times do make people do some things without thinking. my guys fed me that day
it is always a funny scenario after realizing you just get scammed by someone
100% if i remember the experience, I will just laugh
