My Diary // How I Spent My Monday With Friends, Shopping With HBD

Introduction.

Hello friends, good evening. Trust your day went well.

This is an account of how day 2 of the shokin workshop and SpendHBD shopping went down.
This took place on Monday ( 4th November 2024). I should have brought this updated to you yesterday, but my device was down.

On this day under review, I woke at about 6 a.m., did my chores, and fixed breakfast of bread and tea.

The Shokin Workshop.

At about 9:45 a.m., I left to our Hive training centre here in the city of Aba, Abia State, Nigeria, where the spendHBD workshop would hold. Because of traffic, I arrived about 5 minutes late. I joined, and it was an all interesting outing. I benefited so much from the training organized by @focusnow and @bummblebee.

I was glad to have been part of this workshop since i wasn't part of the first edition.

After the workshop, we left to a supermarket that was just listed on spendHBD. The name of the supermarket is "GOD'S OWN INT'L."

My Experience Shopping At God's Own Int'l Supermarket.

After the training, we all headed to the store in a group. Since the supermarket isn't very far from our training centre, we all walked down on foot.
On arrival, I was amazed at the quality of goods at the shop.

Immediately, we started shopping. I was able to shop two times.

The shop has different sections, like

• Winery
• Grocery
• Cosmetics
• Departmental, etc

After shopping, we all came outside the shop and took group photographs to the amazement of paserbys and onlookers. Below are a few samples.

Conclusion.

This was my first time attending the showkin Workshop and shopping in a group with other hive users. I can attest that it was a wonderful experience, and I would like to do it again and again.

Generally, i would say that i enjoyed shopping at God's Own Int'l Supermarket. However, not all their goods had price tags. Personally, I love it when goods at stores have price tags. This will help ensure the sellers dont cheat their customer.

While I come for day 3 of the showkin workshop, I plan to bring at least one newbie. Hmi hahlve started talking to people's already, showing them evidence of the votes I got after shopping. The two people I talked to are interested. I plan to bring them along to the next workshop.

Perhaps I would like to commend the brin behind the spendHBD project. This project is making hive and HBD popular. Moreso, it brings to live "the real use" of these tokens into existence. I hope it is sustained.

After we left for the supermarket, i went straight to my shop and worked till around 8 p.m., when i closed and went home.
