Mary: A Mother's Faith

You know what time of the year it is, right?
For me, it's just that perfect time of the year. This is because there are a lot of visible changes around like, the falling and drying of leaves, heat and hot sand, harmattan, the entirety of the weather conditions gives a distinct flavour and makes it stand out amongst other seasons.

During Christmas, most channels air Christmas movies to match the Christmas atmosphere. As kids, most of us had our favorite Christmas movie to be home alone.
Maybe things have changed now so, this week we want you to tell us your favorite Christmas Movie and why you like it.

Now while growing Up as a kid, I have been able to see a lot of movies during periods, some of them at the Cinemas, at my school, I'm church, etc. A handful of these movies Includes

I have seen a lot, some that I can't even Recall their names but my Favorite Christmas movie, this Year's award Goes to Mary

Mary is quite a new Movie and a very Interesting one at that. Mary Doesn't Portray Christmas that much, but it tells the story about Mary The Mother of Jesus was able to conceive and Deliver Baby Jesus.

We've always been Hearing Baby Jesus 's side of the story because, he is definitely the reason of the story, but The Movie Mary tells us her own side of the story as well.

This 2024 movie "Mary" is a biblical epic solely centered on the story of Mary, the mother of Jesus, from her perspective. Her perspective includes her birth to Joakim and Anne as a gift from God. In return , they offered her, their only child, to Serve in the temple. The movie captured her birth, early childhood and her growth till she was sent to the temple. Watching this Movie, I noticed how the birth of Jesus wasn't that swift, right from the moment the Temple Girl(Mary) became Pregnant. She faced challenges from the priest, the people and almost from her family if not the Intervention of Angel Gabriel who kept on Revealing himself to Her Parents.
Besides being stoned to death as the law of the Land demanded, Mary was also on the run at the subsequent pursuit of King Herod who was bent on Devouring the Messiah using his Slayman Marcellus.

Well at the end of all the challenges and pursuits, Mary was being moved by Joseph to Bethlehem His Hometown, where Baby Jesus was Being delivered in the Manger. The star shone so bright and visible for all to see as the prophet had Prophesied. There was a feast in Bethlehem for the Birth of the Messiah but that was not the End of the war.
The Star brought even More distress as Herod never Went back on His Words. It got to an extent where he commanded all the male infants to be killed. Since the birth of Jesus was Divinely Orchestrated, he was protected and shielded from all harm.

I learnt a whole lot from this movie, and even though there are criticisms by others concerning the movie, I chose this to be My favorite Christmas Movie for this year, probably till when I find another, I'll keep recommending this one.
