Hurray!!!! It's November 6th and I have lived two decades and two years on Planet Earth. Welcome to VIBES Web3 music Competition Week #23.
I am excited to be on your screen as I have fully traveled 365 days safe and sound.
Thanks to God, the creator of existence, for making me a partaker of his Goodness.

A lot has happened in the just concluded episode of my life. A lot of wins, disappointment, failures, health challenges, mistakes, celebration and milestones achieved. I'm grateful for the happiest days of my life, I'm grateful for the rainy days, the bad days served as learning grounds, the failures served as room for improvement.
Within the last year and now, I have attained Milestones that I had mere wishes for in the other years, big dreams have started germinating and in no distant time it will become real.

“Moving On* is a song composed and sung By Asa and it is my farewell song for the 21st version of my life. Like I said there were so many events that occurred in that past year, too numerous to mention
But those things never put a halt to my life, instead I was refined like gold and I kept on Moving on.
Just like the River or stream that never gets halted but flows , whether in the rainy or dry season, I'll keep on moving on.
It's been 8 good years since I lost both parents, you could tell how the struggle would be navigating yourself round life. Since I was quite small, I had to be tossed from one home to the other and you can say one or two about how detaching could be.
But then I'm grateful and super proud of myself as a girl child for the feat I have been able to attain. One of them is my Education. It was a matter of concern for me because I had to stay 4 years home before starting college due to funds. I'm currently in my second year pursuing my second degree in nursing program. I am self sponsored and I have also met the absolute love of My life.
These things have happened so swiftly and I'll keep on Moving On.

This song is a toast to myself and a gift #verbal-d, coz he requested for another of Asa’s songs.

Song Lyrics

I had to run away and hide
Something happened in the middle
Of the night
I came inside without a sound
Suddenly my life was turning upside down
All that I could feel was pain
And strangers came and took my soul away
Like a deadly hurricane
I know my life would never be the same

Where do you go when you're by yourself
Who comes along when you cry for help
I know I can't change the past
But as the river keeps flowing
I'll keep on moving on

I'm hoping for a better life
Praying that nobody's story
Turns out like mine
The only thing I know is fear
Even those with good intentions disappear
All that I could feel was pain
And strangers came and took my soul away
Like a deadly hurricane
I know my life would never be the same

The earth's been done
My spirit is broken
He gave me the reason
He left me with questions

Where do you go when you're by yourself
Who comes along when you cry for help
I know I can't change the past
But as the river (As the river)

I'll keep on moving on
(Where do you go when you're by yourself
Who comes along when you cry for help)

I'll keep on moving on
I'll keep on moving on

Happy belated birthday! Thanks for dedicating 'Moving On' to me - that's so kind!

Regarding your 'Moving On' cover, You did struggle with low notes, but that's an area to grow, and, at times, the background overpowered your vocals. Memorizing lyrics would also help you connect emotionally.

Despite health challenges, you still delivered a heartfelt performance. Remember, every song is a chance to grow - keep practicing, refining, and pushing your limits.
