HOW HIVE BLOCKCHAIN HAS TRANSFORMED MY LIFE

I feel so excited to share my journey on hive and the great impact it has created in my life. It is about one and a half month since I joined hive, specifically on the April 16th of this year I started my adventure and journey here in this platform. This great platform has transformed my life in various ways I never thought was possible.

After my friend @etorobong persuaded me to join this platform I hesitated, I felt so reluctant trying this out because I had always believed that I could not write let alone sharing my life stories to the public , it was a no no for me, I told her writing was not my thing at all.

Each time she kept persuading me to join hive, she even went as far as showing me the money she makes through writing and earning here on hive and encouraged me to do it as a side hustle and help myself as a student, I intentionally declined simply because of the limitation in my mind, I told her clearly that I could not write and it will be a very hard thing for me to be consistent as she does.

After some time my Pastor and friend @uyobong called me , told me the same thing and encouraged me to join hive , he told me that it is not going to distract me from my studies that instead it will help me to learn more, write and also earn more.

HOW HIVE HELPED ME TO DISCOVER AND UTILIZE THE TALENT WITHIN

After giving in some thought I decided to give it a try and then I met them for guidance and help on how to get started they helped me through, I started gradually and here I am about two months old here. Initially, I went through the communities here on hive, as I began to explore Hive, I was struck by the diversity and talent of the community. I discovered individuals from all walks of life, sharing their passions, skills, knowledge, stories, and experiences and of all financial matters I was inspired.

I read through other people’s post It was wow, more like every other social media and I felt relieved, I started commenting on people’s post and interacting with people, getting feedbacks from people too. It was getting more interesting than I had thought.

This was my first post on hive

I decided to overcome the force of inertia that had held me, I wrote my first post which was an introduction post, I published it via the inleo frontend. I was amazed and encouraged by the number of votes I had, that was indeed a good start for me, I felt so happy when I received support, feedback and encouragement from communities and that gave me a firm reason to do more.

My friend later on introduced me to the inleo monthly prompt, it was actually a good guide because it helped me with topics I could write on, I went through the #Aprilinleo prompt, #Mayinleo prompt and here the #Juneinleo prompt, I participated actively and that helped me to express myself, think critically and most especially it has helped me improve on my writing skills. The me that could not write before has now learnt how to write better.

After some weeks, I was able to earn some tokens from the support given to me from different communities, this was indeed a huge encouragement for me, this was my first time of earning money via an online platform, I never believed in earning money online I thought there were all scam or Ponzi scheme but hive is indeed a true one.

My friend advised me to subscribe for premium to enable me make long threads via inleo frontend and to also stand a chance of being curated by communities which I did and I am happy I subscribed to the premium.

One of the most significant change hive has brought to my life is a sense of belonging and connection with people from different field, countries, race , profession etc I have been able to learn and interact with likeminded people and this aspect has helped in building my social life.

My journey on hive is indeed a transformative one, it has changed my life financially, develop my writing skills and build my social life within this one and a half month of my stay.
As I continue my journey here on hive, I am anticipating greater opportunities here on this platform. I am glad I made the right choice.
