BEYOND FATE: HOW OUR CHOICES AND ACTIONS CAN CREATE THE FUTURE WE WANT

Many a times we always feel or think that “what will be will be”, so many people believe that what was meant to be would always happen, well I would not say this belief is absolutely wrong but people have open up ways for several things to happen all because they feel that what would be will always be and will certainly happen.

I have seen so many people giving up and letting things go all because it did not turn out well they feel it is not for them. Most times letting things go is not a solution to it we need to take chances and make things work out rather than giving up and feeling it is not for you.

The phrase “what will be will be” is a belief that our future is predetermined and beyond our control and what will happen will always happen regardless of our efforts. There is a lot of misconception about this, no matter how predetermined our future could be we ought to work things out and make it happen.

A lot of people have used this phrase to justify their fears, to give up and settle for whatever life presents to them. Whatever we dream of is always possible if and only if we are willing to pay the price and make it happen.

For example, a young boy who dreams and aspires to be a medical doctor starts up the processes of achieving his dreams, he finishes his secondary education and gets admitted in the university to study medicine and surgery, if he does not study hard, he ends up failing his exams and is ejected from medical school.

He concludes in his mind that being a doctor was not meant for him and what would be would be, this is a very wrong mind-set but if he summon courage to give it another try , learning from his past mistakes and working hard he will eventually make it.

I have been in this shoes before, I had always believe that what is programmed and meant to be will always be and this mind-set made me lose so many things, it made me to give up on some things too fast and I will just conclude in mind that it was not meant for me.

I have been ignorant for years, I have been in the dark, I did not know that most things require taking chances and intentionally making it work out. Thank God for my pastor who brought me to limelight and helped me to understand that we need to secure what we have and make things work.

Everything will not just happen I know miracles happen but there are positions, successes, achievements etc that we create and make it work.

Let’s be the change that we ought to see, let’s build what we dream and not leave it to fate, let us summon courage and make it happen. What will be will only be if we make it happen, we can create the future we want, yes it is possible.

Do not give up, the future is not predetermined, our choices, our actions, our decisions have a significant impact on our lives, it can shape our future and create positive outcomes, take responsibility, believe in yourself and you will certainly see the change you need.
