Tropical Cyclone Kristine

Ria and her siblings were noisy playing, I was holding my phone then I didn't notice I dropped it and fell asleep. My sister in law asked me if the extension in her room is working. I said I haven't tried it I thought I was dreaming but for the third time for this year where here again in my in-laws house. Escaping from our flooded house. Maybe I was too tired I woke up at 3:30 in the morning I wasn't able to go back to sleep. Our bed got wet, the time of the high tide was the opposite of the two previous we had. We can't monitor it because it's start when people are sleeping soundly. But we can't sleep well due to tropical cyclone Kristine. The wind is so strong it's like an angry person that will chase you.

Our situation at 4:00 am

I pity my son because when his father is not around his the most responsible in organizing our stuff. I don't know where did he learn to climb but when times like tragic as these you'll really expect the unexpected.

Seeing the news makes me pity this people. We haven't experienced being rescued. We are prepared, we been practicing it for 13 years. I admit my first experience was unforgettable. So every year that there's a flood and we survive. I know we surpass God's trial and we became stronger.

We experience losing a power connection but not as tragic as these. Me and my son will row our boat to go to a charging station. It's either a solar panel or a generator. Connection to our love one's is very important. They can stay updated to our situation.

Because our in-laws house has a second floor Ria's cousin is having a vacation while we need to escape from our House. And this kiddo is really spoiled to her parents. Of all the floods we experience this the most longest evacuation we ever had three times in one year and there's still two months before 2024 closes. I hope next year a new chapter of our lives will open to a better one.
