Recovering From Bagyong Egay
Hello hivers happy Wednesday morning, where on the middle of the week. Weekend is fastly approaching, fast like the back to school. Are you're kids excited to go back to school? My kids are just a bit, maybe because the situation of our place and house. And for my today's post im going to share our place before and after the flood.
It was the 28th of July we couldn't sleep tightly every night. I was thankful that my daughter likes to spend hour's staring on her smartphone. So I was the first to go to sleep then after 3-4 hours my body will wake up on his own. Then I'll tell my daughter to sleep and I'll guard the flood. The purpose of guarding the place was the things inside. We all don't want to wet and ruined our things.
The first photo you'll see our durabox or plastic cabinet. The flood reaches the very top, me and my son went back home to save our things. The water was extremely on my lower bass, we excavated on my in-laws house. Then I was hurriedly called by son because his father told him to visit the house. He told me to come immediately because a lot of clothes will get wet. I couldn't believe at first because last year was just a small flood. But I saw it on my eyes it was really big and dangerous.
We never thought that our double deck will be reached by the flood 😭😭 nobody told how that flood will be. I feel weaker because my husband is not around, all he can do is to worry about us. Chairs are six to be exact but can't manage to stand on its own.
Our refrigerator has an extra story, after excavating on the second day outside our house. I seek for help in our neighbour relative. But they said that I should asked help in the baranggay officials. So I did what they said but they we're busy with much important. Good thing that I saw the friends of my husband, and there willing to help me. I was very thankful that we saved all our things even I saw how it suffer alone.
This is what happened to my feet after the long journey of flood. I've cured it by washing it with soap and drying it with soap it was very painful. But I have nothing to endure it all.
It's cleaning time, me and my son don't know where to start cleaning. My two daughters are left in my in laws house. But with faith, courage and wisdom it looks like nothing happened.
The flood may leave a scar on the people on water world. But hope and faith made it possible to make our house brought to normal. We are now back home wearing safety boots eating three times a day. Laughing and teasing each other, we are back home ans and home is water world.
