My Pork Nilaga Versus My Favorite Monggo at the Daycare Center
Happy Wednesday morning @asean.hive community. Ria was lazy to go to school, it's already seven in the morning but she didn't wake up on her own. Me and her sister tried to wake her up but she only had a tantrums. We told that she needs to go to school 🏫 but she looked like she doesn't want. After 15 minutes we tried to please her but she refuses. Ria's teacher said to never force our kids if they didn't want to go to school.
Yesterday's meal was my favorite Saute monngo with fried fish, (tinapa) tofu and chicharon. Because it's at the daycare center I was shy to take some photos while my co parents are cooking. But I have some here while we're busy talking to each other 😁. My chore was to wash the utensils.
Last week we have no feeding so this week we have, the veggies are gonna be rotten. So we made two dish for the last two days. We serve the kids saute bottle gourd with ground pork and rice so my favorite monngo was brought home. The advantage of having a feeding program is we have a meal to brought home to our houses. But our planned was to cooked Pork Nilaga for Lunch the kids requested that dish.
Ingredients
Pork Meat
Pork broth cubes
Onions
Pepper
Salt
Fish sauce
Seasoning
Water
Veggies like; corn
Potatoes or sweet camote
Cabbage, pechay
Banana
Procedure
Wash and cut the ingredients needed, we just bought packed veggies in the store for $1.08 it includes the veggies above the images. Let's cooked, Boiled the pork with salt, pepper and onions, I also add the camote and corn. After the meat is tender I add the broth cubes, seasoning and fish sauce. I simmer it for a minute then add the remaining veggies I half cooked it and it's already done. That's easy but very delicious and tasty. For a sweeter taste of the soup all you need is to crash the camote. Here's the finished product Hope you learned something in my recipe.
But because monngo is my favorite dish and the kids didn't like it either I ate it all solo. Good thing I didn't experience rheumatism after 😁😊
Thank you so much for reading
