Filing the Empty Spaces
Happy Friday Cycling community tomorrow is the weekend I know some of you are getting ready to paddle up their bikes. While my son is still dreaming of getting his bicycle fixed.
It's been a while since I wrote here, the reason is all because of the storm and flood. We even need to evacuate in my in-laws house. So my son was forced to stop his source of income. But before we crashed down on the four corners of this house he was able to buy some new parts for his bicycle.
I also told him that three months left it will be a year since the last time he paddled on the road. I pity him and his dreams because it's really expensive to assemble a bike. But I adore his courage because he never gives up. Instead he gets all his stuff and tells me; "mom, I also want to vlog! The caption is I bought all my bicycle parts thru catching shrimps and saving my allowances." I also wanted to add that he was able to help our expenses inside the house. I just hated that he didn't want to cut his hair.
He unboxed and lay his stuff on our bed and here they are. Proud and waiting for that day they all become one. He even connects all the parts to try If they fit well. He smiled while Ria held the frame and put some scratches on it LoL. His very sensitive to that one of them are wrapped with clothes.
My son was able to use a bike our neighbor has a bicycle but he pity its appearance. He said that they don't even put grease on its parts. Some of them are also rusty and the seats are moving. It's a bit dangerous to ride. But because the stores are really far from our house he really has no choice but to use it. He seems to be happy even if he uses a rusty bike. At least he was able to use the bike and express what he really wants. His best friend also envied him to make the process of building my son's bike faster. But just like what he said; let's wait and trust the process.
September 4 we left our house and his bicycle parts are also there. He often visits it to also feed the ducks, his also worried that some robbers might go inside specially at night time. We all hope that when the flood subside shrimps are just around the corner so he could finally have the missing part of his dreams.
Keep safe cyclers

Wow! That's really starting to look like a bicycle. Really nice to see he manages to put it all together by himself. How old is he?
If he needs some advise; there have been a few people in here that have built a bicycle from scratch.
