WE #174: Had some Coffee at Black Scoop and random chitchats
I am a super fan of coffee and I really enjoy sipping it while talking with someone. At the time when we didn't have a coffee maker in our house, we would always taste some kind of coffee from my sister. That's one of our great bonding, if it's not milktea we'll order coffees everywhere. There is no bearing on us even if it's a local or well-known store like starbucks because for us, we look at the quality of the coffee and we know that even small coffee shops can offer quality coffee flavors in the market. Anyways, here's an updated photo where I visited a coffee shop with a friend of mine. We decided to buy some drinks here in Black Scoop Cafe since we have other plans that day and since we are both easily get sleepy and tired, we need some to drink some drinks to get energized.
This will be my first time trying Black Scoop and actually we are looking for Starbucks Shop but we can't find any near the Mall where we currently were.
I ordered Cafe Latte while my friend ordered Matcha Frappe. The price was good compared to Starbucks and I think the drinks are both delicious. It's just that, Starbucks is more popular.
As we got our order, I asked my friend to sit for a while because my coffee was hot and I didn't want to get burned while we were walking. I took my first sip and I got satisfied with the taste of my Cafe Latte. Just like in the other shop, Black Scoop's coffee is so rich in flavor as well. Nothing special but I appreciate the ratio between the steamed milk and its espresso, just enough for me to be active the whole day. On the other hand, I also asked my friend how's the taste of her matcha frappe. She said that the matcha was good but she didn't like the extra sweetness of it. But still, the drinks were good.
While sitting and cooling my coffee, my friend became busy with her cellphone. But from time to time we talk about random things that should be discussed. Because I am the type of person who is observant of his surroundings, I took some time to listen to what the two people at the other table were talking about. As I understand, the other person tries to recruit the other person to their company. I think it's about networking or like a pyramiding scheme. On my mind, I really impressed on how the recruiter talks a lot. It seems like he is a professional recruiter and it seems that I will also be able to join their company if this person also talks to me. I am not so sure if their company is legit based on the flowery words he was telling to the other person. I also heard that in order to have a six-digit income, you have to invest five-digit money in them. I remember myself years ago. I was also one of those victims who got recruited by such people but I am fortunate because I found out immediately that their company is a scam before depositing a money.
Anyways, since I was able to carry my coffee, my friend and I went out to go to our next destination.
This concludes my random coffee moment to be shared here in weekend-engagement, initiated by @galenkp. And I hope that you enjoyed reading my blog. How about you, do you have any memorable moments in a coffee shop?
