A Case of the Mondays
(Edited)
It’s another uneventful day, had I not forgotten something I’m supposed to do.
As usual, Mondays are slow. I wouldn’t say I hate Mondays, but I have to admit that the transition from the weekends, which pass by in the blink of an eye, is challenging. Fortunately, there isn’t much to do today, so there’s nothing wrong with taking things easy.
However, something crossed my mind after I took my lunch—I forgot to do something that was due today! I had to dash out to get it done and thankfully, I arrived where I had to be just in the nick of time. I'm glad I was able to get it out of the way, despite having completely forgotten it this morning.
As soon as I got home, I made myself a cup of hot chocolate to celebrate surviving another workday. As I sipped my cup of chocolate, I grabbed the book, Thought Economics by Vikas Shah, that had been lying on my desk untouched for a couple of months now since I bought it — I'm glad it has yet to collect dust. 😉 It’s a collection of interviews with some of the greatest minds of our time.
I wasn’t able to find the time to stream on Twitch today, but I found a game I could pass the time with — Gladiator Manager. It is a text-based battle simulation game. I find it fun, though it might be boring for some due to its repetitive nature.
Hope everyone had a fun weekend, and may we have another wonderful week ahead!
