Yodin vs Yodin
Translated by ChatGPT.
Well, my friends, now battles in Splinterlands have indeed become increasingly challenging with the possibility of facing opponents with cards at the maximum level. On the one hand, this is extremely positive as it breaks the main barrier that existed in the lower leagues. After all, even as an experienced player, you still had many difficulties climbing due to the level limitations that existed. This problem has been solved, and now you'll need to have your collection properly updated or put in a lot of effort to maintain a high Win Rate facing opponents with maximized cards.
Putting aside ranked battles and focusing on Brawls, today I had a very interesting battle where both players chose the summoner Yodin Zaku, an extremely powerful summoner capable of easily winning battles against unprepared opponents.
When composing my team, my first goal was to control the field using Magnor with its Taunt and the Ferexian Hero to protect my team with the Reflection Shield (I made a great choice here). I opted for this combo because if Magnor takes damage before attacking, its Enrage will ability be activated, and its attack will be much more powerful (and the adjacent damage too).
The other cards were chosen to deal damage to three targets at the same time (depending on luck) and apply useful buffs like Swiftness and Inspire . Despite some similarities, my opponent chose to build a team focused on Armor , selecting cards like Ferox Defender and Tower Griffin to distribute buffs with Protect to the entire team.
Also having the Supply Runner, the opponent's attacks were applied first, significantly reducing Magnor's life but allowing him to deal his amplified damage that completely broke the armor of the first two opponent's cards.
Next, Magnor was eliminated, but Ferexia General also managed to take down Supply Runner, removing the second speed buff and leaving both teams evenly matched in that regard. In the second round, luck played a crucial role, and fortunately, it was on my side as my Countess Sinash delivered the first blow and eliminated two cards at once!
With this setback in the enemy team, he no longer had enough units to fight on equal terms, so eventually, his team gave in, and I secured the victory.
In this match, we can observe that both players made different choices in their protection, but mine was more effective. The opponent believed that choosing two cards with Protect would be sufficient, while I opted for the Magnor + Ferexian Hero combo to control the field, protect the team, and make use of the high damage that Magnor could cause.
There will always be small details in our choices in Splinterlands that will completely impact the course of a battle. Therefore, we need to stay attentive and continuously seek to improve our collection to compete on an equal footing with other players, especially now that level limitations have been removed from all leagues!

Your opponent had more speed but the card in second place was immune to shatter and this was instrumental to your win. Great win, it's a true clash of the Titans. You both were evenly matched.
Reflection Shield is a very useful skill and having managed to get the Ferexian Hero to level 3 helps me a lot
