Lembro que quando eu iniciei no Splinterlands no final de 2021 e até metade de 2022, o Mylor era um dos invocadores mais utilizados mesmo possuindo um custo de aluguel um pouco mais elevado, porém seu efeito era tão poderoso que compensava bastante (era uma das melhores formas de subir do bronze alugando poucas cartas). Mas recentemente são poucas as vezes que eu vejo jogadores utilizando essa carta e fiquei me perguntando se existe um motivo para isso.
O principal motivo que veio à minha mente foram as várias cartas que foram lançadas com a habilidade Protect além dos vários summoners que também distribuem armadura para todo o time. Existiam ao todo 8 cartas com essa habilidade até a edição Dice, porém com as novas adições essa quantidade aumentou para 15, quase o dobro! Há também invocadores muito populares como a Kelya Frendul que consegue mitigar os efeitos do Mylor e derrubar o time inimigo antes que o Thorns faça efeito em suas vidas.
É claro que mesmo perdendo muita popularidade ele não deixa de ser um ótimo invocador e que combina perfeitamente com algumas regras de combate, como por exemplo a Unprotected , Up Close and Personal e Up to Eleven . Além disso, ser menos frequente também lhe permite surpreender os adversários e pegá-los desprevenidos contra a habilidade Thorns presente em todos os inimigos.
Semana passada eu fui essa pessoa, cai contra meu amigo brasileiro @lincemarrom e montei um time totalmente focado no dano físico com Inspire e Double Strike mas a escolha do Mylor Crowling quebrou completamente minha estratégia e rendeu uma vitória fácil para ele (com direito a zuação no Discord).
Recentemente eu consegui alugar o Mylor level 5 e estou tirando proveito dos seus benefícios em minhas partidas, inclusive conseguindo conquistar algumas vitórias nas Brawls com esse invocador. É difícil prever quais cartas ficarão no meta e se permanecerão lá por muito tempo, mas dentre as cartas "esquecidas" eu tenho certeza que o Mylor Crowling é uma das mais fortes (junto da Byzantine Kitty que também desapareceu completamente das minhas partidas ranqueadas).
Vocês também perceberam o desaparecimento de algumas cartas que antes estavam sempre presentes em suas batalhas? Comentem algumas dessas cartas que estão sendo pouco utilizadas atualmente no Splinterlands, quem sabe não conseguimos encontrar alguma assimetria de valor especulando um novo meta? 😄

I don't think the Mylor disappeared. The fact that it can no longer be used in modern is that it happened like this. But in brawls it's still used and still as powerful. Using an inspire ability means that you want all melee attack and probably lost outrageously. Great win for your opponent.
