My performance was terrible, and I lost several matches in a row, dropping from Champion III to Diamond I. That’s 80 Rating Points I’ll need to recover to reach my previous league, but I'll leave that for later, because it certainly won’t be today that the humbled will be exalted—I was just humbled again and again 😆.

I started my day’s farming with a goal: to use some of the new Rebellion Reward Cards to test their new abilities and create new strategies for my collection. I even managed to level up the Nimbledook Explorer and the Thanalorian Blade to the level where they unlock new abilities, and I was extremely excited to test them.

The Nimbledook will be a great addition to my collection as it can replace the Truthspeaker in matches where the Cleanse ability doesn’t seem necessary and there’s an opportunity to attack from the backline using some Rule Set. By combining it with its own ability and the correct summoner, the damage potential of this card could become very high for the cost of only 4 mana.

Another possible strategy would be to use it alongside the Truthspeaker to take advantage of the massive armor boost, redirecting attacks to the backline using the Shieldbearer and placing the Aves Sturgis between the two cards to activate its Weapons Training and further increase the team's damage potential.


This is just one example of the many possibilities that can be created using the Nimbledook Explorer's ability combo, which is why I’m so excited to test these compositions in battle (though unfortunately, I didn’t have any favorable matches for that). As for the Thanalorian Blade, it’s a card that is harder to maximize its new ability, as its high mana cost doesn't always justify the Execute effect it requires a team that controls the field well enough to give the Opportunity cards time to do their job.

With the addition of the Lookout ability at level 3, it will be easier to include it in the team, because aside from its offensive power, it will also play an additional role in protecting against Ambush and reducing some of the damage that adjacent allies may take, but unfortunately, there weren’t any good opportunities to test it today either. In fact, my last match in Splinterlands today sums up my day’s results well, deserving the title of this post.

For a second, I wondered how the Goblin Mech took 8 damage at once and then another 10 right after, but I quickly realized the opponent had a double Giant Killer composition, fully prepared to deal double damage to 75% of my team. I don’t even need to say that it was an absolute and completely crushing defeat, putting a “golden” finish on my terrible day 😅.

Aqui no Brasil temos muitos jargões bem famosos e eu não tenho certeza se eles também existem nas suas culturas, mas hoje eu quero falar especificamente sobre dois (um com certeza todos conhecem, afinal é da bíblia) que enautecem perfeitamente meu dia de hoje no Splinterlands.

O primeiro é "um dia da caça, outro do caçador" e o segundo é "Os humilhados serão exaltados". Hoje com certeza foi o dia do caçador e infelizmente eu era a caça 😅. Meu desempenho foi terrível e eu perdi várias partidas seguidas, caindo do Champion III para o Diamond I. São 80 Rating Points que precisam ser recuperados para alcançar minha liga anterior, porém vou deixar para fazer isso depois, pois com certeza não será hoje que os humilhados serão exautados, eu apenas fui humilhado de novo e de novo 😆.

Eu iniciei o farm do dia com um objetivo: utilizar algumas das novas Rebellion Reward Cards para testar suas novas habilidades e criar novas estratégias para a minha coleção. Inclusive consegui evoluir a Nimbledook Explorer e a Thanalorian Blade para o level necessário para ganhar suas novas habilidades e estava extremamente animado para testá-las.

Já a Thanalorian Blade é uma carta mais difícil de tirar proveito máximo da sua nova habilidade, afinal nem sempre seu alto custo de mana pode compensar o efeito de Execute , é preciso ter um time que controle bem o campo para dar tempo suficiente para as cartas com Opportunity fazerem seu trabalho.

Com a adição da habilidade Lookout no level 3 será mais fácil colocá-la na equipe, pois além do seu poder ofensivo ela exercerá um papel adicional de proteção contra Ambush e reduzindo um pouco o dano que seus aliados adjacentes poderão receber, mas infelizmente também não houveram boas oportunidades para testá-la hoje. Na verdade, minha última partida no Splinterlands hoje resume bem o meu resultado do dia, merecendo o título dessa postagem.

Por um segundo eu fiquei me perguntando como o Goblin Mech recebeu 8 de dano de uma só vez e logo em seguida mais 10 de dano, porém logo percebi o duplo Giant Killer na composição do oponente, totalmente preparado para aplicar o dobro de dano em 75% do meu time. Eu nem preciso dizer que essa foi uma derrota absoluta e completamente humilhante, fechando com "chave de ouro" o meu péssimo dia 😅.
