market friday: the fun of shopping for daily necessities at suzuya
Market friday by @dswigle on 19 August 2022. Hei friends, I Will show you one of the shopping places in the form of a department store, namely Suzuya. Suzuya department store is one of the supermarkets spread across Indonesia, Suzuya sells various daily needs.
my son, Rais likes to shop here, even though Suzuya is not as big as binjai super mall (the only mall in our city is binjai, North Sumatra). Because at the Suzuya department store there is a play area for children, every child likes to play, right?😅
The play area is located on the ground floor, next to the ATM and parking location on the ground floor.
With only Rp.30,000 (USD.2.14) Rais is tired of playing, he wants to go shopping, he likes shopping for daily needs, he says "mom don't be tired, Rais will go shopping". We go straight to the 1st floor which contains daily necessities, because Suzuya's area is not too wide, the manager must be good at arranging items on the shelves, so that it looks attractive to visitors.
At the entrance to the 1st floor there are various breads and cakes, promotions without preservatives. The cheapest price of bread is Rp.6500 (USD.0.46).
Besides the bread counter there are various fresh fruit (honestly I prefer fresh fruit shopping in traditional markets), I don't like the smell of the fruit, I don't know if it's because of the preservative or because of the AC?
for fruit sold at a price per ounce, we can choose the fruit we want and the waiter will weigh and give a price tag for the fruit we choose.In addition to the fruit rack, there are also cut fruit and fruit juices for sale, usually priced at low prices or 50 percent discount. A bottle of fruit juice like avocado juice is priced at IDR 10,000 (USD 0.71)
in front of the fruit rack there is a shelf containing a variety of instant noodles and glass noodles. Rais likes to eat glass noodles, usually glass noodles are consumed when the air is cold, Rais will go on an excursion tomorrow to Berastagi, which has a cold climate, so he buys glass noodles.
The average price of glass noodles in Indonesia is only Rp. 5000 (USD.0.35) and today there is a lot of discount for glass noodles, so the price is not up to Rp.5000.
we went around buying some basic necessities.
on the 1st floor there is also an area to monitor CCTV, located near the stairs leading to the 2nd floor.
on the 2nd floor there is a fashion area and its equipment, on the 2nd floor there is also a fast food outlet in the form of KFC.
it doesn't feel like we've been at suzuya for 2 hours (shopping always takes time without us realizing it). We immediately went to the screen to pay (I couldn't take a photo when I was in the screen, so I took it remotely).
Rais is very happy to be able to go shopping today, it's time to go home.

Rais is a good little shopper. You should be happy as most kids do not like to go shopping. :) I thin it is a really nice store and it has all the things you need to make life good.
