BUY CHAOS LEGION PACKS BEFORE MARCH! - SPLINTERLANDS PT/EN

Eu juro que estou querendo falar sobre batalhas, mas tem rolado tanta coisa nas propostas de Splinterlands que não dá para deixarmos de abordar esse assunto!

Já são 6 propostas ao longo de 15 dias e algumas delas eu abordei nas postagens anteriores. Hoje eu quero abordar a penúltima proposta lançada que já foi colocada para votação que é a queima diária de Chaos Legion Packs não vendidos.

I swear I've been meaning to talk about battles, but there has been so much going on in the Splinterlands proposals that we can't stop talking about them!

There are already 6 proposals over 15 days and some of them I covered in previous posts. Today I want to address the second to last proposal that has already been put to a vote which is the daily burn of unsold Chaos Legion Packs.

Além das outras várias propostas que visam valorizar o Dark Energy Crystal também estão propondo um método para forçar as vendas dos pacotes da Legião do Caos através da queima diária. Conforme dito na proposta, se ela for aprovada, serão queimados 25.000 Packs todos os dias do dia 01/12/2022 até 31/03/2023, criando assim uma data limite para conseguir comprar packs dentro do jogo.

Ao lembrarmos que recentemente houve uma proposta aprovada sobre o ajuste de recompensas com base no level das cartas, também lembraremos que o próprio Yabapmatt mencionou que se todas as cartas comuns dos 15 milhões de pacotes fossem combinadas apenas para o level 3, o total de cartas disponíveis seria menor do que o número atual de contas ativas. E o que isso significa?

Ao amontoarmos uma proposta após a outra, teremos um incentivo para combinar cartas ao mesmo tempo em que aproximadamente 4.6 milhões de Chaos Legion Packs estarão sendo queimados ao longo dos dias/semanas/meses, aumentando ainda mais a escassez das cartas se tudo der certo. Entretando é importante refletirmos se é necessário fazer tantas alterações em tão pouco tempo para incentivar forçadamente uma melhora na economia do jogo (DEC, packs e etc)?

In addition to the other various proposals aimed at enhancing the value of Dark Energy Crystal they are also proposing a method to force the sales of Legion of Chaos packs through daily burning. As stated in the proposal, if it is approved, 25,000 Packs will be burned every day from 12/01/2022 to 03/31/2023, thus creating a limit date for being able to buy packs in-game.

As we recall that recently there was a proposal passed regarding the card level based reward adjustment, we will also recall that Yabapmatt himself mentioned that if all the common cards from the 15 million packs were only combined to level 3, the total available cards would be less than the current number of active accounts. And what does this mean?

By stacking one proposal after another, we will have an incentive to combine cards while at the same time approximately 4.6 million Chaos Legion Packs will be burning through the days/weeks/months, further increasing the scarcity of cards if all goes well. However, it is important to consider whether it is necessary to make so many changes in such a short period of time to forcefully encourage an improvement in the game's economy (DEC, packs, etc.)?

Eu não tenho a resposta para essa pergunta e acredito que não há apenas uma resposta certa. Muitos comentários indicaram descontentamento pois está havendo muita interferência na economia e que os desenvolvedores parecem estar com pressa para fazerem as coisas voltarem aos eixos. Talvez eles realmente estejam com pressa para deixar a economia mais redonda e focando principalmente na escassez.

Pensando neste ponto a soma de todas essas propostas apesar de gerarem muita volatilidade no curto prazo, ao pensarmos no médio e longo prazo terão resultados benéficos para os jogadores. Eu mesma gostaria de ver menos cartas Chaos Legion em circulação, afinal quanto menos cartas existirem, mais valiosas elas serão. Se o incentivo para evoluir as cartas for bem sucedido, a escassez será bem fomentada pela soma destas duas propostas.

Até o momento a maioria dos votos foram favoráveis mas ainda falta mais de 50% dos votos totais para serem registrados (comparando essa votação recente com as anteriores), então ainda é possível que haja uma reversão nesse resultado. Devemos esperar e ver o que a comunidade decidirá sobre a necessidade de queimar pacotes para fomentar essa escassez.

I don't have the answer to that question, and I don't think there is only one right answer. Many comments have indicated discontent that there is too much interference in the economy and that the developers seem to be in a hurry to get things back on track. Perhaps they really are in a hurry to get the economy rounded and focusing mainly on the scarcity.

Thinking about this point, the sum of all these proposals, despite generating a lot of volatility in the short term, when we think about the medium and long term will have beneficial results for the players. I myself would like to see fewer Chaos Legion cards in circulation, after all, the fewer cards there are, the more valuable they will be. If the incentive to evolve the cards is successful, the scarcity will be well fostered by the sum of these two proposals.

So far the majority of votes have been in favor but there is still more than 50% of the total votes to be registered (comparing this recent vote with previous ones), so it is still possible that there will be a reversal in this result. We must wait and see what the community will decide about the need to burn packages to foster this shortage.

Se imaginarmos que essa proposta também será aprovada, teremos então duas propostas que entrarão em vigor no curto prazo com o objetivo de valorizar as cartas da Legião do Caos através do aumento de escassez.

Ao considerarmos esse efeito e somarmos com um possível aumento de demanda futuro advindo do próximo bullmarket e principalmente da formulação de um sistema amigável, chamativo e que retenha novos jogdores (este é o principal desafio dos desenvolvedores de Splinterlands), se você acreditar que essas ações acontecerão e trarão resultados positivos, então vale a pena começar a considerar adquirir seus pacotes da Legião do Caos antes que o DEC retorne ao seu PEG e os pacotes sejam todos queimados!

If we imagine that this proposal is also approved, then we will have two proposals that will come into effect in the short term with the goal of enhancing the value of the Legion of Chaos cards through increased scarcity.

When considering this effect and adding it up with a possible future increase in demand coming from the upcoming bullmarket and especially the formulation of a friendly, eye-catching system that retains new players (this is the main challenge of the Splinterlands developers), if you believe that these actions will happen and bring positive results, then it is worth starting to consider purchasing your Legion of Chaos packs before the DEC returns to your PEG and the packs are all burned!

The problem really lies in the voting power. The whales that have stacked sps and Dec, and maxed decks stand to profit. Problem along with just the mass turbulence you mention is that these will close doors to new players. And essentially create a sinking put for those not hols mass governance and several maxed decks. The small irony, however will be once it collapses (and it will collapse if some measures areblnt taken very soon.) The whales that used their bully weight to quickly vote things. If they don't sell quickly before/very beginning of collapse, they will find most assets very difficult to move, and at a loss when they do.

This is very complex, but the fact that they are the most benefited (or harmed) from the proposals makes the whales choose what is best for the entire game
