Has technology rooted out old areas of interest
There is no doubt that AI is expanding its domain to almost all fields of life. From banking to health, from education to transportation, from business to task completion, and sports to warfare, AI has molded itself into different adjustable modules. The primary function of AI is to assist humans in completing tasks that demand error-less decision-making but there have been hues in some sectors that soon AI will replace and dominate the whole of mankind. Due to its problem-solving, decision-making, memory-revising, and continuously evolving nature, it will vulcanize itself to an unassailable level.
But is this true? Can AI and technology replace all the segments of society? My brother is busy these days making AI-based software that can act like an online doctor. He tilts towards me for multiple health-related queries. He is inserting all the commands of some specific diseases initially from symptoms to lab reports to medicines and guidelines about the usage of those medicines. Even if we assume that the AI will give the correct assessment extracted from the data provided will it be reliable? For we can undermine the importance of the physical inspection of patients. That physical inspection better tells about what the patient feels. From facial features to his utterance of suffering, the doctor becomes able to best diagnose the disease. So the role of doctors will not be so easy to replace.
Are there any fields that have been replaced by technology and AI?
Well, I keep a bit optimistic opinion about this. I might be wrong but I think AI hasn’t replaced any such field which was being offered by universities. Customer care service is a field that has been influenced majorly by AI and has replaced the human workforce but this was not the field that was enthusiastically being offered by universities. It was a side program. Yes, the most vulnerable field that may be replaced by AI will be one that created it i.e. software engineering. AI can create for you software of your own choice without any need for consulting software engineers.
So at the current moment, it is hard to tell fields which have been completely replaced. But one can tell fields that are under threat of replacement. For example, # Pedagogues can suffer setbacks from AI. As the trends of education have changed. It has become too old to be stuck to books, paper, and exam way of education. Education is gaining its true essence which is learning and for a conservative system of education, it has become difficult to adapt to new trends. AI can result in the best teachers and pedagogy method which can teach students according to new trends and what they want. There have been many AI-driven institutions which had started exerting their influence. The role of transportation is also in jeopardy. In banking, AI-driven accountancy can be performed more efficiently and accurately. Utilizing satellite inputs, AI can better assemble and deliver data for meteorological purposes.
We can say that AI has the potential to replace many fields if it keeps on improving and evolving day by day. It depends on us how much space we want to give this automated and inclusive intelligence to influence our lives. Do we want to live under the influence of it or do we want it to assist us in our dealings and matters? What strategies can be employed to improve as well as to constrain it? Our decisions and strategies will shape our future.

There is no doubt that the way technology is developing, many new things have come to us and some old technologies have been replaced. Talking about customer service, AI has taken over many places in this sector and many people have lost their jobs due to it.
