Efforts have been invested, result are loading

So, life demands effort. Efforts for what? Success. Can success be not brought without effort? It can be for sure. If you don’t agree, go and see the lottery winners. In a few minutes, they earn what many cannot earn even after struggling hard for their whole life. But is success independent of efforts? No not all. How can you drink water if you don’t go to the refrigerator to fetch a water bottle? Success demands not only efforts but rigorous efforts along with consistency in the right direction.

Everyone’s definition of success can be different. For some, money and a luxurious life are success while for others inner peace through small things is peace. Simply, success can be the accomplishment of desired goals. And effort is the vibrant factor that leads to the path of success. It is ridiculous to imagine success without putting forth efforts for it. It is like winning a battle without attacking and defending.

Usually, the result is considered a success and a source of pleasure but the main thing behind tranquility and bliss after achieving success is adrenaline rush during the journey. The more you put effort and work hard to obtain results, the more you cherish them. Picking easeness will not only reduce the probability of obtaining success but it also snatches the real bliss even if success has been obtained. There could be plenty of exams but let me give you an example of what I recently felt. Solving knotty and tricky questions used to be my favorite hobby as if I used to solve them the smile on my face used to be very delightful. I still can solve them easily by AI but the thrill is missing.

So in my life, there are sufficient instances when I was not rewarded significantly for my efforts. Sometimes it was due to my energies in the wrong direction, sometimes it was due to hard luck and sometimes my success, sometimes due to my insufficient efforts, and sometimes it was retarded by some malicious hands as well. But there are ample examples as well when I got more than my expectations and my efforts fully paid me off.

Let me tell you of my recent experience. Keeping in mind my interest and my wish, I decided to appear in a competitive exam. It was August 2024 and I had six months to prepare 12 subjects. The exam demands a rigorous study routine and regular assessment for quality preparation. When I took the start, the outline that was looking simple was very complex and diverse. It used to take me hours to comprehend a single topic.

I was fighting on many fronts. On one side when I was focusing on English for essays and grammar papers, chemistry and IR were demanding much attention from me as well, and at that time I realized polygamy is very tough and it is good to be with one woman only. Lolz. Well, so my routine used to be to find data, recent facts, and updates and remember them. In many instances, I felt exhausted and my energy drained but a flame inside me never let me skip and I carried on until the papers days came.

The papers attempt was a battle in itself. There were two papers,each lasting for three hours, continuously for six days. I used to wake up early in the morning and sleep in the midnight. After continuously writing for 6 hours, there used to be no energy to study further but revising course what I have studied was inevitable, otherwise, the efforts of 6 months might have gone in vain.

So did I succeed? The answer to this is uncertain because results are pending. This exam is highly competitive and only few brilliant minds come as passed and if I pass this it would have been my biggest achievement as my efforts would pay me off but if I don’t , I would be happy still because the journey added many things in my personality and taught me very life lessons.
