4 Element Diy Contest: Beautiful Waterfall πŸ’§πŸŒŠβ›²

I am happy to be involved in the DIY Element Contest and decided to use the water element in the craft. One main attraction that I have always liked was the touch or more realizing the tranquility of water and that is something I wanted as part of my project.

My entry is a special waterfall I designed using basic items like gravel stones, carton papers, colors and plantain leaves. My idea was to create a simple free-standing structure in which the concept of a waterfall could be reflected. Water is something I usually admire anytime I visit the park or drive pass there.

First I collected my working tools and began with the initial layout of this work by drawing circle and then coloring with blue and then placing the gravel stones. I carefully arranged them to mimic the rocky base of a real waterfall the base of an actual waterfall and just ensured that I made some of them form a slope to simulate the water falling in the waterfall.

Next, I shaped the nylon strips as to mimic the falling water as illustrated on the picture, this I did by cutting the nylon in shades.l. I then secured the strips on the gravel base such that they hang and simulate the motions of water running.

To add a touch of nature I used plantain leaves to create small plants and bushes around and the ground of the waterfall, adding to the natural feel of the piece.

In my opinion, there is no better word for this project as the whole concept of the design reflects the water element in its essence, the flow. It brings its viewers to learn to look at life in its perfect perspective , and learn to live life in the simplest of inventions in nature.

I look forward to seeing all the other creative ideas people will post in the contest and am excited to be able to share with people what the water element means to me. Thanks for following my DIY journey with me.
