A SIGN THE WORLD NEEDED...

A woman who's been married for more than a decade needs just a sign to show that she has a uterus on the inside.

The joy on Chloe's face amidst tears rolling down her chin was a clear proof that the opinion of a thousand tongue could never replace what she feels for her baby.

Chloe had been married and was called barren because she had no child to show forth. Others said she was a man who was transgendered into a woman but she kept hoping and praying for a sign. She would wish and pray for a pregnancy and never mind if it ends up with a miscarriage, perhaps he world will let her breath effortlessly.

All she kept hearing was "there's nothing wrong with you or your husband ma'am" but why can't I get pregnant she would ask the gynecologist in return and will end up leaving the hospital sobbing.

Several years had gone by an nothing changed, so she wanted to get pregnant at all cost, she tried IVF but she had several failed attempt and escaped death on one occasion.

The thought of adopting a child from the motherless homes came but she was constantly obstructed by her husband and in-laws.

She was loosing her mind and her next stop was in the valley of death, but NO! death was far away as someone would always come in to stop he from taking her life.

After fifteen years and ten months, Chloe missed her period, she wasn't surprised because this kept happening in the last few years and all she got as a response to it was that she has over-stressed herself and so she needed to rest and so when it repeated itself, she didn't bother visiting her doctor.

She thought perhaps menopause has decided to visit finally. Soon she started craving strange food and eating too early, she tried to browse the internet to see if over-eating could be caused by menopause but she only ended up being more confused.

She launched into the second trimester of her pregnancy journey and she noticed a strange overweight and her once flat tummy was getting bigger.

Chloe looked herself up in the mirror and finally after many years, a smile waved through her face. she immediately got to the hospital and was medical certified to be pregnant.

Ohhhh! what joy, she did everything within her power to ensure her baby was save. From her her medications to anti- natal visit days,she was very faithful. She became so beautiful again and blossomed beyond what people could fathom.

The Delivery day came and she was off to the labour room, her husband kept praying and kept whispering words of love to her, she gathered her strength and bursting forth was a child that the nurses were so afraid to carry or behold.

What!!

After all this years, all you could bring forth was an abnormal child?? her husband question her. Of course he was broken, depressed and disappointed.
The nurses suggested that the child should be injected so he could die and would relieve them of the pains and shame but Chloe said she'll never assist the devil to steal her joy.

She called him Evidence because to her, he was a clear proof that the world needed to know that she wasn't Barren. She needed just a sign to show the world that she was truly a woman with an active womb.

Chloe saw the beauty that nobody saw in her brokenness.
Today, her name is in the sand of time, posterity now write and talk about her because she stood tall for her child.

Evidence was not what any mother prayed for but he was the clear proof his mother needed. She loved him so much and today she takes care of special children and gives them the normal life they deserve.

Indeed beauty is in the eyes of the beholder!!
