My 60th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: New Long-Term Hive Goal, and a Shift in Focus - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Sunday, July 23, 2023

My last Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update can be found here. This goals-and-progress post serves as my weekly participation in the Saturday Savers Club and the Sunday Alive Tribe Chat.

Welcome to my 60th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update! This has been an inspiring week of building, growing, and saving, with new dreams and goals moving to the forefront of my daily Hive focus. As I've been sharing in my daily posts over the past few days, I've set the new long-term goal of reaching 600,000 HP, and whale level, and that I've begun to refocus some of what I do on Hive every day to make that happen as quickly as I'm able.

The most notable shift is that I've decided to move HBD in Savings to a far more prominent place in my goals, as the 20% APR and monthly compounding interest has the greatest potential of helping me reach to this very daunting goal. The more HBD I'm able to put into Savings, and the more quickly I'm able to do it, the faster I'll attain my 600,000 HP goal, as the magic of compounding interest, with a 20% APR, does the work for me.

This refocus on HBD in Savings means that I will no longer be converting HBD to HIVE (for the foreseeable future), to add to diesel/liquidity pools, to buy income tokens, or to use for #HPUD. While this part of my shift in focus is more challenging, because all of those things are important to me, the faster I can grown my HBD in Savings, the faster I'll be able to do all of those things (except #HPUD, due to HP and reputation limits) far more more easily. This also means that I might soon change all of my new posts to 50/50 HP/HBD. Up until now my daily posts have been set to 100% power up, with all other posts (like this one) being set to 50/50. I've been participating in #HPUM for quite a bit more than a year now, so this is also not an easy decision. I'm still sitting with it for a while, to get more clarity on whether this is something I really want to change. All I know is that I am absolutely determined to surpass 600,000 HP, and to reach whale level.

This week I gained +31.291 HP, +0.056 Reputation, and +6.986 HBD in Savings, which means that I exceeded my HP Goal by +0.156 HP, and my Reputation Goal by +0.006 Reputation. It's fantastic that I surpassed both goals this week, especially considering that both were stetches!

I rose in my HiveBuzz Reputation Ranking by +51 places, I went up in my HP Ranking by +42 places, which is quite good indeed. Sadly ranking for HBD in Savings has been broken for five weeks now, so that data is unavailable.

This week I also added three new layer-2 curation accounts (@lolz.btcz, @lolz.meme, and @lolz.spt), I removed assets from one liquidity pool for which the rewards ended (TEAMPH:SPS - with the TEAMPH portion being reallocated to the SWAP.HIVE:TEAMPH pool), I re-added assets to a pool where the rewards ended and then were later started again (SWAP.HIVE:THGAMING), and I added assets to a new pool (SWAP.HBD:PEPE). I added a couple new income tokens, as they began coming into my wallet (DAB and DRIP), too.
