Here We Go Again Regarding My Poultry Farm Business
Hi Everyone,
It is another beautiful day and it's with great pleasure that I'm welcoming everyone to my blog and I hope you're all doing well and having a great day. I will like to share with you the new development regarding my poultry farm business because it's been a while since I took a break due to the stress and other situation that I went through with my last batch of broilers bird.
I believe this is the right time to cut off the break and resume with my poultry business and I will like to share with you what I have been doing ahead of the arrival of my birds (a day old chicks).
After leaving my pen scanty, empty and dirty for almost a month, I believe the best thing to do is to fixed some damages caused to some part of my birds pen follow by disinfecting and cleaning the pen with other tools. But before that, I have already take a measure by buying down almost the exactly numbers of feed which will be used to raised 50 pieces of broilersbird from day old to six weeks old upward. Feedstocking is a very important factor one must consider before bringing in your birds because I made this kind of mistakes with my last batch of broilers bird which really affected me greatly but I have learnt my lesson. You can check here to see how my feedstocking goes.
Like I said earlier that before the arrival of my birds some due diligence and precautions must be taken such as feedstocking, disinfecting and cleaning my birds pen with other tools. But feedstocking is what I did first and you can check that in the link I dropped above.
Broilersbird are kind of destructive as they used their beaks to create a big hole in my pen and also chop off some parts of the pen.
Here are some of the damages caused to my bird's pen by my last batch of broilers bird
Fixing some parts of my pen
It takes me a while to fixed and patch up my bird's pen as I have to mix the sands, cement and water together and being creative is what really help me to achieve this and also save me some money since I don't need to pay for any service.
Disinfecting and cleaning my pen
Doing the due diligence and taken some precautions is very important towards achieving success in poultry birds. Disinfecting my pen using disinfectant called formalin and proper cleaning of my pen and other tools is very important so as prevent the incoming birds from being infected with the diseases left by my last batch of broilers bird since diseases in poultry farm business can not be entirely eradicated but can be prevented if proper measures and precautions are taken and this is exactly what I have been doing to make sure that the new incoming birds are safe and secure as well.
I will be making my order for 50 pieces of a day old broiler chicks today if possible and this means that my birds will arrive exactly on Monday morning and I will keep you posted on how things goes.
Thanks for visiting my blog and have a wonderful day

It is rather unfortunate that those weak things can cause this much damage.
Good luck with the next batch of birds.
